Excellent motherboard at a great price, easy installation without any problems, I installed a Ryzen 9 9800x3D processor on it with liquid cooling and an RTX 5070 graphics card and it works great, it has enough connections for fans and ARGB connections, I am happy with the purchase

I've been using the ROG X870-A for some time now. Its design is excellent. The clean white and silver theme perfectly complements modern gaming setups, especially for building a white-themed PC. It looks very premium and is well-built. I like its BIOS and features. The BIOS is easy to navigate, even for non-expert users. It comes with plenty of USB ports and M.2 slots, so expanding storage or adding peripherals is not a problem.

Used this to build AMD Ryzen 9. Nov 2025: Amazing this thing has full support of all components using latest Ubuntu (24.04). I bought an ASUS board some years ago and it didn't work well with Linux, no bluetooth and other various quirks. Also I read that this board would have Wifi and bluetooth not supported without additional hardware/drivers. Really I haven't tested the audio yet but it should be just fine. Wifi and Bluetooth fully functional right out-of-the-box without any additional drivers. What a nice surprise. The board looks great, runs great and was fun to build. Wifi speeds are now through the roof. I did have an issue with the Asus junk antenna that came with one of their older gaming boards that I bought. Because of that, I was reluctant to choose Asus this time but after reading reviews on many other boards, it seemed the only choice. The upgraded Wifi7 antenna that came with this board is impressive and not feeling like junk at all.

This is the fifth Asus motherboard I used to build a system. The board is pretty stable, with no problems. But, Asus has cut a lot of corners on there motherboards. The documentation is very poor. The pamphlet that came with the board is only about 4 pages. The PDF off of the website is not much better. Very little explanation on the BIOS. The board lacks a lot of features their old boards have. All and all, I am satisfied!

great board for the am5 platform. great IO ports, useful features including bios flashback, quick disconnect on the gpu pcie, and design of it is very clean. get the board when its on sale for near $200 or less as it is worth it for that price.

I recently upgraded to the ASUS Prime X870-P WiFi for my AM5 build, and I’m very impressed with its performance and overall stability. The installation was straightforward, and the BIOS is easy to navigate with plenty of customization options for both beginners and advanced users. The build quality feels solid, and it offers excellent connectivity with built-in WiFi 7, plenty of USB ports, and PCIe 5.0 support for future upgrades. Memory compatibility was smooth, and my DDR5 RAM was recognized instantly without any issues. One of the highlights is its cooling design—VRM heatsinks do a great job keeping temps under control even under heavy workloads. The board also looks clean and professional, perfect for a minimal or workstation-oriented build. Overall, this motherboard strikes a great balance between price, features, and reliability. Perfect for anyone looking to build a strong AM5 system that will last for years. Highly recommended!

Good God this was an awful board. I may not be an IT professional, but I have built MANY computers over the last 20 years and I've never had the issues in that time that I've had with this one. Here are all the issues I've had: RAM - the set I purchased work just fine in 2 other AM5 builds I put together, and flawlessly I might add. With this MOBO, I've gotten quite a few errors and BSOD's from RAM issues. few applications I've tried to install such as Adobe Creative Suite (for video editing purposes), I get Memory errors -- same thing happens with DaVinci Resolve. After running MEMTEST a few times without any reported errors, I gave up. Driver Installations - Nearly every driver I try to install, whether it's from Windows Update, or from company websites themselves such as NVIDIA, they're all invalidated because the certificates cannot be verified and they're not trusted. Windows Update will try to update my video card drivers and they'll break. I then have to jump through all sorts of hoops by turning off secure boot, disabling driver signature enforcement (which is dangerous...), DDUing the NVIDIA driver and AMD driver. I then ATTEMPT to install the NVIDIA drivers and there's a slim chance it works -- like 1/10 shot. The only NVIDIA driver I can get to work is from the middle of 2024...big issue. My video card worked just fine in my previous build. I've never ever experienced these numbers of issues with a build, and I'm 100% sure it's not the CPU, RAM and Video card problem as they all work in other builds... Can I give this zero stars?

وصلتني سليمه لكن كرتون المذر كان فيه ضربه من قوتها انشق الكرتون بس ماوصلت للمذر ف بنقص نجمه لكن بالمجمل ممتازه (التوصيل بالنسبه لي اخذ ١٤ يوم)

great board for the price ! no useless RGB lights and runs my 9900K. hope there was 2 more SATA ports but that's OK.

A placa wifi da MediaTek é uma porcaria. Sempre que eu tento instalar um Linux em dualboot o bt para de funcionar, já testei várias distros.
