Brilliant lock. Easy to fit and feels really substantial. It bears the 3 * logo on the outer barrel to deter would be thieves. Recommended. The company were really helpful afterwards and dealt with an issue directly with me even though I bought it on Amazon.

I have been trained as a locksmith and I have been trying to find a good and Secure lock for my house, I do not like yale think it is over priced and cheap made but I came across Xfort and the barrel looked good but wasn't sure on the key design. For £30 for a 3 star lock with 5 keys I thought why not try it. Just delivered today and fitted it, the key is very smooth and fits nicely in the fingers. Comes with 5 keys as I said but it comes with a card so you can get more if needed, you will have to go to Xfort as they will not be stocked in many places. I will give it a couple of weeks of use and if anything changes I will update this review if I don't it means it's all good.

Lock seems good quality comes with 5 keys. The thumb turn can be removed via a grub screw if required to aid fitting lock. There is a red arrow and a small red dot to show the thumb turn is in the correct position when locking/unlocking the door and it also has to be pushed in slightly to operate. The keys all fit and there is no problem getting any of them out of the lock. Replacement keys are expensive but as 5 are supplied hopfully it should not be an issue. Contacted the seller with a question and recieved a quick response. Overall pleased with performance and quality of this lock. The keys have an indent on the plastic part of the key this shows which way up the key should be facing when its inserted into the lock. Usefull if its dark as you can feel the indent.

Excellent we measured correctly and it fitted perfectly. Nice to get 5 keys . Good quality very sturdy. Liking the idea of the turn lock inside instead of keys too.

It's a shame as this could be a really good and highly rated product.The cylinder is well made and constructed from substantial metal parts.Unfortunately it's let down by a very poor lock design. It's not a Yale-style design like my existing lock but a weird non-standard type which takes a very odd key. The key is hard to remove from the cylinder and I had to lubricate it to get it out the first time a tried it. I emailed the seller in case I was doing something wrong but received no reply so have returned it for a refund.
