I am familiar with konjac sponges; I have been using them for a few years;( I also live in Japan, and they are very common here). Prior to ordering this set, I was using a "high end" konjac sponge from a Kyoto brand, made with a special white charcoal etc etc. Even though I love konjac sponges, I honestly was not impressed with that one. I also wanted a smaller one to carry with me when I traveled (I pop it in a mini-ziploc) and I liked the choice of having three interesting types for my own skin type (combination, break out easily, gettting older) so I ordered this set; so glad I did, I am very impressed.First of all, they are real konjac sponges, so despite the cutesy shape, you're getting an efficient sponge.Next: the shape- although I didn't personally care about it being heart-shaped or not, I'd still totally order again because of it! It is perfect for holding in your hand, for getting to smaller areas of the face...one side is flatter, the other side more rounded, there's a "point" etc.... it just works. You can smooth and rub all over every part of your face and around your nose and mouth and behind your ears....you get the idea.Which brings me to the texture; as you probably know, konjac sponges have a particular texture; these are perfect- not too squishy or slippery, but smooth. They feel absolutely wonderful on the skin- you can just wash and wash your face as much as you want and your skin gets brighter and cleaner and smoother and there is no irritation or redness or "scrubbing off" feel. Konjac sponges are amazing; they are so gentle, but they are powerhouses.And this set is just fab. I use the green one in the morning to wake up my face skin, the black one for "proper cleansing"...but I often take one in each hand and massage my whole face, and it is the BEST feeling.Also, big bonus point; they don't fall apart; It is humid where I live, I use these every day, I hang them up after but they don't necessarily ever get totally dry. My other konjac sponges would have been falling apart by now, with the same amount and type of handling, so another reason to reorder. I also plan to get some and have them available for guests/gifts.Try them, you won't be disappointed- they are gentle, wonderfully efficient skin conditioning tools.Also, great customer service- they wrote me an email to explain the konjac - since I knew what to expect, I was fine with it, but they are different from what a lot of people are used to so that could be helpful. So yes; highly recommend, all around.

These sponges are a very good value but they aren't as high quality as some that you will spend more $ on. However, with that said, these do just as effective a job of cleaning and exfoliating than ones you'll spend twice as much on. I did notice a difference in the texture between these and one I spent a little more on ($10 for one). These felt less like a natural plant based sponge than the other however, they weren't as slimy feeling and to me that's a plus. These also seem to have a little less porosity however they lather quite nicely. I included a picture so you can see the difference in porosity between these (the green tea one) and the more expensive one. I can't attest to the claims of green tea (protectant) or charcoal (oil absorbant) infused sponges because it seems after the first use, once you rinse them, you would rinse away any additives that it's infused with. But, in case there is some additives still left after rinsing I only use the plain white konjac sponge to apply my facial soap. The others I use when my skin is too dry for soap but needs a wash anyhow and I can say they leave my skin feeling very soft and clean even without soap. I don't use the charcoal one much because I recently moved to a very dry climate and don't want to further dry out my skin but the green tea one does leave behind a nice, clean feeling. All in all, these are great exfoliating sponges to use and they're a great pick for those just discovering konjac sponges so you can figure out which works the best for your skin. No need to spend a lot of money on one sponge if you're not yet sure which is the best one for you, so a triple pack is the more economical, sensible product to choose.

These are nice konjac sponges. Delivery was super fast, they actually came a bit earlier than estimated!These do not come premoistened, which is probably a very good thing for hygiene purposes. However, they're not quite as soft or jellylike as premoistened sponges that I've used. But that's not such a bad thing, if anything these probably exfoliate better than the premoistened type, though they're not as squishy.The sponges come in a heart shape. The pointed end of the heart is great for scrubbing crannies like the sides of my nose and above my lips. The sponges have an overall flattened shape which also makes it easy to scrub large patches of skin like the cheeks, but the flatness of it makes it feel, I don't know, somewhat insubstantial? But I think that might just be me.You can apply foam facial cleanser to these for super effective cleansing. A little bit of cleanser goes a REALLY long way, I put the tiniest of dabs on my sponge and give it a few quick squeezes to create abundant foam, and it's enough for my whole face.Like all konjac sponges, these provide mild exfoliation and are gentle enough to use every day. They're very decent and function perfectly well, they're just not quite in line with my tastes (softer, more jellylike, puffier sponges).

These weren’t worth the money and I couldn’t even use them because they were too hard to handle being that they are so small and I’m a small person. I wasted my money.

These sponges are amazing and very clever! once you follow the clear instructions, they are simple and easy. At first I used my normal cleanser, but soon realised it was not needed. admittedly, I had no makeup on, so to use in morning and evening before bed, they are brilliant. Leaves skin very soft with no itchy feeling or after affects on skin, apart from skin feeling wonderfully smooth and the appearance on skin seems smoother too, even after a couple of uses. The fact they are 100% natural is brilliant! I also bought a set for my sister as a little surprise valentine gift, so will wait to see her reaction from using these, as she too is very sensitive.The company I purchased these from are very professional, and they help you immediately with any questions, problems etc. and the packaging is brilliant for gifts. The delivery was amazing too... I highly recommend trying these, certainly feel different to anything else I have ever used but in a really good and clever way. These have a lovely soft feel and make your skin feel very smooth and clean after use. Only downside is the string is flimsy and snapped easily

I was delighted to receive the three Konjac Sponges which are in a lovely presentation heart shaped box. They arrived the next dayI was delighted to receive the three Konjac Sponges wonderfully packaged and arrived so quickly after I had ordered them. I am using the green sponge at present and after the first use my skin felt so soft and clean. I usually use anti aging 3 in 1 water to cleanse my face but I am so happy with using the sponge without the cleansing water as the results are wonderful for me

I can't say enough about these face sponges but I'm not one for long reviews so in a Nutshell, Lovely packaging perfect for gifting, Wonderful for my cleansing ritual, leaving my face feeling silky and pampered and simply clean sponge after use and hang to dry.Heart shape pleasing to my eye every time I walk into my bathroom

Really disappointed in this product. Paid more to buy what I thought was a reputable product rather than cheap from eBay, but after less than 10 days the first sponge is already disintegrating!!! Only gave a one star rating as I couldn’t give zero!!
