I bought this to film content for my social media pages. I’m an artist, but I’m also a photographer and videographer who owns multiple tripods, but I needed something compact and with a smaller footprint for tabletop shots. I Decided to go with this over another popular magnetic phone stand made of pleather, and I’m glad I did. This thing is solid and feels great to use. Being made of metal I’m also more confident it’ll last a long time. Magnets are super strong, and if you use a pop socket it fits right over it, which is a great bonus.Obviously the size means you can’t just leave it on your phone at all times, but it’s slim and lightweight enough that you can easily slip it in your pocket or any bag you may have on you (or just clip it to your bag).

This is a great budget option for a simple but reliable and premium feeling tripod stand. The stand itself is metal and feels very nice to hold. The MagSafe attachment part is very strong, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it still had a strong hold on my iPhone even with my MagSafe Popsocket still attached, making it very convenient to attach and detach. The tripod legs allow for a good range of angles, supporting the phone well in both portrait and landscape positions, and can be folded up into a convenient size for storage, especially with the carabiner. I haven't tried using it as a camera stick, but I believe it would serve that purpose well as a simple solution for extra stability when filming.My only major complaint is that, when fully extended, the legs don't provide much side-by-side stability, making it pretty easy to knock over given a sideways force or when placed on an angled surface, but for most stationary, flat surfaces, this isn't much of a problem.

I really like the idea and construction, but if you want to use this tripod to take sky views (I like astrophotography) you’ll need to attach your phone to the back, and it won’t work. The back side doesn’t have a MagSafe ring. I just bought a MagSafe sticker to attach to the back of the tripod, that might help me solve the issue. I really like the construction and size of the tripod. It is really great.

I didn’t have high hopes for this tripod to be honest. I’ve been looking for a small enough phone tripod that I would remember to bring with me and and not take up space.I did like the idea that it had a carabiner that was the MagSafe attachment. Quite clever. I could clip this onto an existing camera bag and not rose up much room. Using my iPhone with a MagSafe case, it felt pretty sturdy that I would have confidence in using this as a selfie stick/gimbal without it falling off. It works well as a tripod so I can have this for videos and watching videos (think: on an airplane).For $30 this is a bargain, especially when compared to Peak Design’s phone tripod at $80 (which I own and enjoy). They’re cheap enough to buy as gifts and come in handy for a number of uses.

I love it so far. It’s so convenient to carry around and it’s light weight. The magnet is super strong too. It works well with my Magbak case for my iPhone. I like that the mount is magnetic. There’s no fussing with adjusting the width to fit your phone. You just remove your phone and place it vertically or horizontally and start recording.

Lightweight but great build quality. Very slim when folded, more than stable for my heavy iphone 15pm + mount + lens. Rubberize touch surface. Tilt up or down some amount when set to stand. Carabiner is a nice touch. One upgrade could be a 1/4 thread for mini mirrorless setup.

This tripod even fits with my pop socket installed! The MagSafe connection feels solid and strong.The metal feels well finished and rounded at the corners and the legs feel easy to move, but stiff enough to stay put when pointed where you want it.The caribeaner / loop spring feels good throughout its range and seems easy to latch.It has rubber where the tripod magnetically attaches to the phone. It also has rubber feet on the leg parts.
