Amazing quality and app!
I’m not sure why some reviews aren’t great, because my experience has been really positive. The Amazfit Helio Smart Ring is excellent quality, and the app works smoothly. It is real value for money!!! Looks great on a finger as well, I bought a case for it and now it is not going to scratch. Battery life: It could be better, but I typically get 3–5 days out of it. I don’t wear it while sleeping, so I can’t comment on full sleep tracking, but it did detect a 20-minute nap during the day when I was barely sleeping and mentioned that it wasn’t a full, deep sleep. Update: Been sleeping with them, tracking really well sleep quality and phases. Very useful in tracking sleep and sleeping quality. App features: You can track your food by uploading photos, and the AI analyses calories quite accurately—I think it works very well. Also a lot of functions, for example indicated that my mood changed when I had a stomach issues. All reads are quite accurate, steps, stress level, pulse- all counted well. Design and comfort: The device looks great, feels solid, and is comfortable once you get used to it. Sizing was straightforward: I measured my finger, followed the description, and the fit is perfect. *Only one thing I could mention, that you need to make sure you charging it correctly. The charging station needs to stay sturdy on a flat surface and make sure you putting ring correct side/way. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and hope it continues to perform well for a long time!

Excellent ring & price, comparable to my galaxy watch. Have to give it up due to sizing though
Edit: I have since returned this ring as it's far too big for me and began to borderline slip off. I would have been ready to switch from my watch when they finally offer smaller sizes and hopefully a sizing kit to. Such a let down as it otherwise blew my watch away. I have a galaxy watch 4 and previously apple watch 7, both of which I only got with my respected phones/ecosystems to check my heart rate casually for health reasons, sleep occasionally and blood oxygen occasionally. I also wanted to use the ECG feature on those watches, but they were both abysmally poor/inaccurate and fickle to use so I never really ever used it again. For all these reasons, I thought to switch to a ring as it does everything I need with more comfort and ease of slipping on and off, watches being a bit less comfortable on your wrist and taking far more time to take on and off. I decided to do a test as soon as I got the ring to compare it to the watch, and wear both for a full day to see if the switch is for me. The battery life was identical to my galaxy watch, the watch is set to check heart rate constantly however and the ring 5 minutes, but that makes sense as the ring has a smaller battery. I didn't really need it to check constantly so battery life and 5min was no problem for me. The heart rate sensors were identical when walking, any general day to day physical activity, resting and during sleep and read the exact same, I measured my pulse manually and found the ring was more accurate slightly than the watch by 1 or 2 beats, so about the same as there were times the watch was a bit more accurate by 1-2 beats too. When your ring is disconnected for a short time e.g. you're away from your phone for an hour maybe even longer, it keeps the heart rate data and syncs it later once you reopen the zepp app. I'm not sure how long the ring keeps data, so if you don't have your phone with you during exercise or throughout the day or during sleep, the data may not be read/you may be wearing the ring for no reason. I believe the same kind of for the watch, but the watch can record activity for a couple more hours away from the phone as is expected. I do not run or do any intense exercise, just normal day to day walking or pacing around, so I can't say if it's more or less accurate for sports. For intense or serious sports, I imagine a watch is naturally going to be a better choice as a ring is made for casual day to day users like me and not as aimed for intense sports/activity. The zepp app is identical to the samsung / apple ones. Same metrics, and all read almost the same with very slight negligible differences. I actually prefer the simple and easy layout of zepp that tells you everything you need to know quickly and clearly on one home screen. The ring came with a lifetime of their aura premium which is pretty cool and a nice offering! Though I found I didn't really use it yet, but nonetheless it adds to the appeal of this ring of not paying monthly or ever having to pay anything like it's competitors. It's a great price point whilst offering everything you need and not charging you monthly for it. Even if the free aura premium I got is a short time deal for new users or early adopters, I never use it and it's just random AI analysis stuff that isn't useful at all. You do not need a subscription for absolutely any of the rings functions or any of the data/ring tracking itself. The fit of the ring is loose, I measured with their guide as an 8, it is slightly loose and comes off when I get it wet, it is waterproof so you could leave it on when washing hands, showering or swimming. If you plan to do the latter, make sure to get a snugger/tighter size than the guide. The guide says not too tight a little leeway, and for me that was 8. I think the bit tighter 7 would have been a better choice for me, however there is no 7 or 6 size nor any sizing kit which is extremeley dissapointing. It is such a huge let down when every watch offers smaller and larger sizes. The guide says it's coming soon but it looks like it's never coming out for the foreseeable future, so it's disappointing there's such limited sizes. The 8 is just too big for me despite being how I measured using their video guide. The ring charges quickly on it's dock, it's USB-C and no mains plug provided like most tech these days just the cable. I like the gold-silver finish of the ring that matches any jewellery. So far it seems to not get tarnished easily by daily use. All in all this is a fantastic ring, but I can't yet swap my watch out for it due to sizing. Once they realise a sizing kit and smaller sizes, then I will make the switch. Aside from that, I find the app better than the samsung/apple ones, the data is the same/accurate, it's comfortable and easy to take on and off and you don't even notice you're wearing it which I like (but that might be because it was too big for me, but it is as light as a normal ring), it looks stylish though a little thick, and I don't miss any of the features of a watch as I never used the watch other than for tracking anyway. I find it pretty cool that the ring even has temperature and blood oxygen sensors, so the only metric you miss out on with the ring is ECG, which I don't miss since it's pretty bad on watches anyway.

Terrible battery life
Battery lasts just over a day. I knew it was short battery life but it's constantly dying on me.

Quality smart ring at a very competitive price, with no subscription to pay.
Good value for money, good looking, comfortable to wear, the latest firmware / software updates have improved sleep tracking. Battery life is about three days, the ring recharges in about1.4 hours on the charging base. The included Zepp software is very useable, and works well with Amazfit ring and and Amazfit watch combined. There is no monthly subscription to pay.

All was well until it wasn't (11 months later)
The good: I've worn it almost every day for the past 11 months. It looks great, fits well and sits comfortable on my index finger, it doesn't feel heavy or anything, just right, and also feels nice to the touch. It gives accurate data for sleep tracking, and it helps me with measuring heart rate that I cannot do reliably with a watch because my tattoos prevent it. So far it worked as intended. Battery life was about 3 days (however not every measurement was enabled). The bad: However, starting today, the battery started depleting at an alarming rate. I had to charge it 3 times within less than 24 hours. I live in Greece and bought it during a trip to the UK, so it's not as easy for me to return it or ask for a replacement. I already requested a return label for a refund (and I'm going to lose money because of conversion fees). I have also contacted Amazfit directly (today Dec 7th 2025) so I'll give it some days to wait for a response to evaluate the return of the device or any other option they can offer. Will edit the review if there's any further development either way.

Good smart ring with lots of functions
Well was reading all the reviews before buying. I have always wanted a smart ring as didn't want a smart watch as I own 3 good automatic watches. Didn't want to spend hundreds on a ring that would be old tec and need replacing in 12 to 18 months with the next big thing. Ok battery might not last as long as more expensive makes but so what ? if you have all functions turned on. Mine last about 2 1/2 days and app is very good with all reporting switched on. Lots of good functions in app and sleep reporting is great So unless you are really worried about charging it for 1 hr 30 mins every 2 to 3 days dont buy it. However if like me want something that's good and does not cost the earth that you dont mind replacing in 18 months time go for it. Watch sizes had to return the size 10 for a 12 as was to small. 12 was perfect for me . Overall I am happy with it

Needs allot of work
I have used every branded smart ring out there and i have a super good idea ad to what to exspect and what i personal need from a smart ring so my review will be pros and cons lists starting with pros. Pros: Comes well packaged Looks nice Durable Cons: Unable to do on the spot checks of heart and spo2 and therfore unable to vouch for accuracy Battery life is terrible, real use 2 days Customer support in non existent I contacted customer support a month ago and still have no reply, im unble to test metrics on the spot which all other rings can do, and the battery life trully is diabolical. This ring is not worth the money as i cant actually verify if it does anything well or not. A return will sadly be on the cards for this ring as they dont support there product and it apears ther is no intention of fixing the issues me tiones, which is a shame as its just softwere were there products fall down on, thease basic functions can be fixed with a software update As for battery, the battery can easyly be optermised, upon furthure analysis i notices 90% of battery was used due to ring to phone connection, if they give the ring a firmwere update asking it to only connect to the phone every so often (with a manual option also) rrather than perminetly connected they will find a significant battery save lasting almost 7 days or so. However this company does not seam to whant to listen to there customers and will likly throw out random new products to keep the money coming in rather than refining the products they already have sadly.
