My first purchase of the probiotics from this seller was here on Amazon and eventually purchased them directly from the company. It's been a few years now of only using probiotics from this company. Why you may wonder? well, I've spent many hundreds of dollars on probiotics and most of them were helpful but the 'one' main thing that stood out was the strength/quality. Many probiotics are either dead or no longer the true potency of what the manufacture indicates. When I first tried this sellers product, I took the 'normal' dosage that I would take from other brands and found myself in a bit of a detox reaction because of the difference in quality/potency. With this clarity, a person can save money in addition to getting the true/full effects of the product(s). Then there is their customer service which is a matching quality. Super helpful, kind and quick shipments. I'm forever grateful for their loyalty in their product and service.

I bought this particular species of probiotic for myself and my son with autism to treat both GI issues and also with the hope it will help my son's mild anxiety issues. Probiotics are being researched not only for their ability to improve GI issues but also for their ability to create serotonin and dopamine helping to ease anxiety - hence the term pyschobiotic. Foods for Gut carries many individual probiotic species that are classified as psychobiotics, so if this species (L. Plantarum) doesn't quite work out, I can try other species that have also been researched (B. Longum, B. Infantis, etc.). Everyone is different in their issues and needs and I'd rather use probiotics vs prescription anti-anxiety drugs and their terrible side effects to help my son.
