Exactly what I needed for the office. Holds the phone where I can see the screen and use my computer at the same time.

Works great on the back of a magnetic phone like the iPhones or phones with the MagSafe case. I have both and I tried both, sticks firm and hard. They include an Allen wrench to adjust the tightness of the hinges, but I didn't have to make a single adjustment, it's perfect out the box. It's all metal, nice heavy design, certainly never going to break, the weakest points aren't weak at all, I guarantee this will last a lifetime. The rubber feet will probably deteriorate before anything of true substance wears out on this thing. As heavy as sturdy as it is, I can't however figure out why they bothered to make the base swivel on a ratcheting mechanism. Don't get me wrong, it's nice, it sounds nice, it feels nice... but it's unnecessary. Turning it with one hand will result in the whole thing turning while only getting a few clicks in, very quickly you'll realize it would've been better to just pick it up and turn it. The magnet is strong enough to carry the base on the back of the phone, and the hinged positions will remain unchanged while you pick up and reposition the phone. It's heavy, but not so heavy that putting a swivel base would benefit in any way... just pick it up and rotate it, otherwise you'll find yourself holding down the base with one hand and turning the phone with the other... for what?!?! The only scenario this would work is if you happen to have a spot the perfect size for this holder to sit in that will hold the base still.Anyway, I know I said enough about the pointless swivel base, but it's not a problem, I promise, just odd to have, as you see it takes nothing away from the product, looks nice, works nice, feels nice, operates nicely, I truly love it and I suspect it will be around for a very, very long time.One more small tidbit to add, if you have a magnetic phone with a normal, non-magnetic case on it... it will struggle to stay put on this stand. I tried it, was not happy with it, best on a bare phone or a phone case with a MagSafe backing on it.

While the stand itself seems durable (hence 2 stars) the magnetic circle is not strong enough. You have to match the magnets exactly and even then any slight movement or swipe the phone falls. Disappointed!!

I love magnet phone holders and this one was no exception. It has a very solid base and the rest of it is also stable. I like that it can be formed into so many different configurations, depending upon the devices you're using it with. It comes with two magnetic circles to attach to your phones, but fortunately the stand worked with the circle magnet I already had on my phone (from my magnetic car phone holder.) So I thought I'd see if they would work on our two Kindles. I pulled off the adhesive strip and put it onto my blue Kindle and thought, "Wow, that blue really matches the case" before I realized that it was a blue plastic protector and pulled it off. Anyway, both Kindles and my phone now work equally well with the YCNEW phone stand, and I especially happy that I got it because I like to read my Kindle while I'm having lunch, and this stand makes it so easy to have it at the perfect reading angle as well as for me to turn the pages one-handed. Great product!

I've been using this in the kitchen while I cook, and so far it works great. I was hoping that it would work with the little magnet I already had in my case for my car phone holder, but I did end up having to put one of magnet rings it came with on. The sticker on those was a little problematic, but we got there in the end. This stand maneuvers quite well in lots of different angles, which is nice. I like that I can put the phone up high enough to have a charger connected and that I can rotate my phone to landscape angle for movies. I'm very happy with this.

This is a nice little magsafe stand. I was concerned about it being able to hold the weight of my larger phone, but the stand is very sturdy.It's able to rotate easily, and holds the phone very well. Depending on how you go to pull the phone off of it, it may bring the stand with it, but it doesn't take much effort to place one hand on the base and then remove the phone from the holder.I wish it was just a little bit taller, but it's not a bad stand by any means.

this is a nice metal lightweight stand that matches the description and photos posted. it came with metal rings you can stick to your phone case just in case it is not MagSafe, which Is extremely helpful, as not all of my cases are magsafe. minimal aesthetic for a clean look on one's desk

This is a fairly sturdy and flexible stand with MagSafe that will strongly hold an iPhone, yet still be easy enough to detach when you need to pick up your phone. It's very adjustable and has a good center of mass that allows you to display your phone in a lot of positions, and it can rotate (with a -click- at each turn). It's easy to adjust and came fairly tight but it comes with an allen key to tighten up the screws if you need to. My only fault would be the branding of the name on the base, but it's not too noticeable.
