JINX - Fast-Paced Card Game for Family & Friends | Easy to Learn, Quick to Play | The Perfect Stocking Filler

This game is very simple to understand and play (check out my picture of the gameplay/rules). If your friends and family enjoy card games like Uno, they will probably enjoy this one too. The game can become quite exciting since everyone is involved all the time, making it fast-paced and noisy! It's a lot of fun. Anyone from young kids to older adults can join in. The quality of the cards and print looks good

Good game once you got the hang of it

This had already been opened. Was not new. All seals had been broken.

This is a fun card game, that takes a little while to get used to the rules but once mastered is quiet a frantic, fun game in action and a little addictive. It reminds me of a very famous card game. Simply put players put down cards starting with 1 and then 2,3 etc up to a 10 card. They have to say the number as they place the card. When they get to 10 they start again. There are reverse cards that start the count downwards instead. In this mode when they get to 1 it goes back to 10. There are a number of power cards, to complicate things a little. If two players say a number at the same time both have to pick up that number of cards. If a player says the wrong number or places the wrong number it’s the same penalty. There are a few other rules to remember as well. Its frantic and as usual often when things are frantic people make mistakes and that makes things interesting. It’s probably a little overpriced for what it is but it is fun and we will be using again. This will definitely be coming out at xmas.

Good game

When I first read the instructions for the game, I thought it was more complex than it is.... in short, you all get dealt a hand of cards, and as the FIRST card on the pack is turned over, whatever number it is you have to place the next one in sequence on the top... and shout the number. If two people shout the same number simultaneously, then it's JINX, and you pick up that number of cards—simple! The rules are super simple, so people of all ages can play. However, regardless of its ease of play, it's a GREAT game and a lot of fun, as everyone is trying to play cards simultaneously. This is the first time I have played Jinx, but it's a really fun game for people of all ages and good to play with your kids, or with your mates while sipping a cold drink. Very good indeed!

Our family liked adding this to the usual round of games we play on holiday. It's easy to learn and fun for a couple of rounds.

As the game relies on honesty and self policing, all while a lot of shouting is going on, it didn't work for us (competitive crowd). The cards are good quality but the design is basic, dark, boring and depressing.
