Decided against the battery powered flashing led as genuine black ball cams don't have this (dead giveaway it was fake imo) Aside from that a brilliant little deterrent. I even installed a thick wire from the cam up the wall and into the house 😉 The wire goes nowhere but looks hellish good 😁 Well worth the £.

Agree with Flawed Value. Just been trying to fix mine. Impossible to arrange to go over 2 screws so hanging by one only.

Nothing to dislike, fitted in a couple of minuets, hope it does the trick and puts the criminal element off.

Firstly, there was no paper template included to make drilling the holes at exactly the right distance accurate. I tried to make my own with limited success - my device is now held by one screw only because the fitting is tight and the slightest error in making the holes means both screws can't be used. The baseplate is integral to the unit so it can't be fitted first and then the mounted on it.It's supposed to have motion detection but I simply can't detect any. The red LED flashes continuously whether there is motion or not.Mine is mounted horizontally on the down facing soffit so I assume it's weatherproof. Winter will tell. At the price it's value for money but does have its flaws.

This dummy camera looks real enough to deter chancers. I have mixed it in with other active camera's.Having read other reviews I have not inserted batteries. My other cameras do not light up when approched so it makes sense keeping everything the same.

Worth the money as a deterrent, batteries have lasted over 3wks now. Not sure if it's waterproof as it's in my shed an can be seen through windows. No motion detection on it light just flashes.

Very basic but does the job. However, I think the flashing red light should be reset to flash every 5-10 seconds or so instead of every second (I decided not to switch the red light on)
