Review: Mini bench saw - I bought this saw to make cutting small copper tubes etc easier for me. It cut through them like butter. A great little saw. I have added a wooden "Table " and stop to make life easier when cutting lots of pieces the same length. Review: Great craft tool for cutting small stuff. - Great little bench saw. I bought it for cutting brass rod and tubing, which I've been using the composite disc for. You just need to make sure you have the discs the right way round when fitting - there's a raised boss on one side, make sure you have that the right way round otherwise the disc won't remain centred.

Waste of money & time when you use it. Not powerful at all can’t recommend

Works but not the most accurate.
Not accurate when it comes to the vertical cut. Bottom mounting plate is manufactured out of square giving this issue. Not so noticeable with thinner materials but slightly thicker would be an issue - if accuracy is required

Came in handy with some Scotia I needed to cut
Wasn’t sure how much use I could get out of this, but it has become quite handy for me. I do a lot of laminate floor fitting as a side line and I cut a lot of scotia beading. When it comes to internal and external joints I like to get them as close to perfect as I can so it is easier to glue the external joints and hide gaps. My mitre saw is just too big, so I use a mitre box and hand saw. I gave this a try and whilst noisy, it did give me a quick and clean cut. The cuts are by no means perfect as there is a little bit of play, but it is as good as my hand cuts and a heck of a lot faster. Now I have started to use it on other jobs as the cut is straight. When ever I have cut PVC and copper pipe work my cuts always run off at angle thanks to a wonky hacksaw. Generally, it doesn’t matter, but I decided to try this on some pipework and it was a piece of cake. The blade didn’t go right through the larger pipe, but all I had to do was rotate the pipe and the saw did the work. It is currently priced £53 which is good for what it is. The blades are good and there are a range different makes / types available on Amazon.

It's limitations outweigh its usefulness or cost
I bought this to do the finishing work on some exterior hardwood window trim i'm installing and it simply lacked the cutting depth to do the job as small as that job was. It couldn't even do that not least because the angle tool (especially when you are using it) blocks the blade from being fully utilised. Its badly designed and for the money its not worth it. I suspect for little cost these design problems could have been addressed but like most nautical vessels of a far eastern persuasion its skimps on the materials. So its going back and I've got to find an alternative solution. Seriously unless you are making matchstick men or incense sticks I wouldn't bother. There is just no range of usage.

Mini cut off saw kit
Amazing value cut off saw kit, it comes with all the accessories! The blade is very sharp and has strong teeth, this device can be used to cut metal, steel, wood and plastic. It’ve very compact and easy to store away. The machine itself is very durable and heavy duty as its made of excellent quality. It’s very quiet and makes hardly any noise. The angle rotation and the vice make it very easy to use.

Great Little Saw, but only for little cuts
Nice quiet little saw, which feels better in use than it seems when you open the box. I checked its alignment with a small square and its perfect, with a nice 90 on the mini vice fixed to its table. It actually makes a lovely clean cut, quickly and easily, the parts are easy to change when needed and its easy to store when not in use, however the biggest issue is the cut depth, it really can only make 12mm cuts, because the body of the saw will actually prevent it making a deeper cut even though the blade itself could easily cut deeper. Its a shame as it would have been an excellent little pipe cutter otherwise, but it leaves 3mm on the bottom of a 15mm pipe uncut. If you have items under 12mm depth to cut frequently, for modelling maybe this would be perfect. I'm going to use it to cut standoffs from a thin diameter pipe, and for that it will be excellent.
