I wanted to use this as my support stand backbone on my mini-drill press I'm building. It is exactly the right dimensions, and the extra length I can cut down easily since it is aluminum. This is worth it! Very nice product as it is anodized black as well. Looks great and functions as needed.

Not much to say about this. It fit the bill and worked for what I needed.The dimensions were on spec, and it was true/straight.Just be aware that it's a single piece that just "looks" like it is two standard 3D printer T slot pieces. You can clearly see this in the pictures and description, but I was surprised at first. I actually am glad I got the side-by-side version because it's very strong.

I had ordered this to use with my work bench, so that I would have a couple of guides for using a circular saw. The nice thing about extruded aluminum is that its very lightweight, but there are so many adapters that fit in to the T-Slot allowing you to mount or secure it to something else, quite easily. The piece was very straight and allowed me to use it as the guide for a couple of different cutting applications effectively. I alos liked the matte black coating on this aluminum. I work in aerospace and we use a ton of 8020 to build structures, so I know the stuff is extremely versatile and robust. I'd never heard of this company and was curious how it would compare, and to be honest, if you put a piece of this side-by-side with 8020 I don't think I could tell you the difference. The anodization looks great, too. Only problem I have is that owning one piece of this stuff is like owning a single Lego--I'll need to get a lot more before I can do much with it (looking to build a better table for my drill press). Price wise it seems pretty similar to its competitor and I'm not sure if this company offers the same level of customization they do, but I will absolutely be picking up more of this!

The aluminum extrusion seems to be of good quality, and is straight and true to size. The black finish however, was only fair in my opinion, with a number of small fine scratches down to the metal. In most applications the finish probably wouldn't be much of an issue, but it is worth noting. The ends are cut square, however not perfectly flat which in my case caused a little bit of wobble when butted against another extrusion. Not an issue if using plate brackets at the joints, but could be a bit a concern if precision joints are required. Overall not a bad peace of extrusion, but not a 5 either, at least not the peace I received.Seems to be well made, true to size, and straight. Ends are cut good and square and the v-slots are machined accurately and are smooth making it good for a 3D Printer that uses rollers or maybe a small CNC machine. The only noticeable imperfection I could find were a few minor scratches in the surface. Overall it seems to be a good peace of extrusion.

Accurately sized T-slot rail that I used to replace a bent piece on a 3D printer. The edges were clean and nick and burr free. Easily cut to size with a cheap hack saw.

Quality extrusion at an affordable price! Nice and straight in X and Y with clean smooth T-slot grooves. Dimensionally accurate and no trash found anywhere from the saw cut ends. Great for any project, will be buying more!
