THE PERFECT LOW-CARB NOODLE!
As a diabetic (Type 2) I can't have regular noodles due to the carb content. It's a pity, because I've been cooking Chinese food as a hobby for fifty years. As a substitute I started using Konjac or Shiritake noodles. Once you figure out the correct way to cook them, they are really good, but... they aren't the real thing. These noodles are really something else, because they look like regular ramen noodles, cook like regular noodles and taste exactly the same.Well, there are two differences, actually. The first is the extremely low carb content. The second is that these noodles seem to have a much greater absorption capacity - well, to me, anyway. One, small packet of dried noodles produced a plateful as you can see by one of my pics.Once other ingredients were added, one sachet was enough for both of us. If the noodles are going to be the predominant feature, you might want to use one sachet per person. After rinsing them in cold water after cooking for 7 minutes, as per instructions, I incorporated them into a dish of Beef and Mushroom in (home-made) Blackbean Sauce. They went down a treat.Kudos to this company for putting these out - perfect noodles, but guilt-free!

Not impressed
I don’t understand what the other reviews are raving about - these taste awful!!The texture is a weird mix of konjac and cheap pot noodle noodles, the smell once cooked is vile and they taste eggy even though they don’t contain eggs. Stir-fry sauce didn’t hide any of the unpleasantness. Just gross.Sticking with edamame pasta in future.

Massive Carb reduction
Normal noodles have around 25g of carbs per 100g, so these noodles are super low in comparison.Taste the same as normal noodles, and you do get a bit of bite when eating them.So definitely superior to shirataki noodles in that respect.can definitely help, when trying to reduce your Carb intake. At £2.32 a pack, they are not cheap so not sure if they can take over the noodle market just yet.But for their purpose, healthiness and taste, they are a good buy.

Surprisingly good
I wanted to see if these noodles were as good as they claim, especially since they have lots of fibre and protein. I used them in a stir fry and also to make a quick ramen soup.I was most surprised by the texture. These noodles are firmer than konjac or shirataki noodles, which can be too chewy for me. They don't have much flavour on their own, but they absorb the flavour of whatever sauce or broth you use, which is great if you like strong flavours.Nutrition-wise, I like that they're low in salt and carbs but still have a good amount of protein. If you're on a keto diet or just trying to eat less carbs, these noodles are a good alternative to regular pasta or ramen. They're also versatile; I used them in both a hot dish and a cold noodle salad, and they worked well in both. Happy to recommend.
