Educational, Colorful, Portable Sorting Toy for Little Ones
I ordered this wooden sorting toy as a gift for a one-year-old, hoping it might help them develop fine motor skills, explore cause and effect, and even learn a few colors and shapes. There are many versions of this toy available online, but I chose this one because it has three different sorting lids and pieces, plus the colorful bars on the side, which add a nice touch. The carrying case is another handy feature since this toy is small enough to pack for outings, whether in the car or suitcase. My only wish is that the sorting lids sat on top with magnets instead of fitting into a slot, but that’s a small detail. Overall, this toy has everything I wanted and should be fun for any toddler.

I wouldn’t use these for younger than Age 2
Our toddler enjoys this toy - it’s good at engaging her with colors and shapes. I find some of the items to be choking or poking hazards, my toddler is not the kind of kid that put things in her mouth, but I would not recommend this for under age 2 or for kids who like to stick things in their mouths

Had a hard time switching out the different lids.
Had a hard time switching out the different lids for the pieces. Lid doesn't close and stay on which was annoying. Toddler kept spilling the pieces out because of it. More suitable for older kids who can play with it while keeping the lid on.

Montessori Toy
I really like this toy for my children! My 1 year old has been having fun utilizing this toy and little do the know they are improving so many skills while doing so! It is super easy to take the cover off the top and flip it over for the shapes aspect of this. The wooden sticks are easy to hold as well! The little round sticks though can be a real pain to pick up, and or they roll really easy. The little carry case is perfect for us as well, since we take our 3 year old to IEP for OT and ST! His teachers LOVE this toy and cannot praise it enough!
