Tea Tree Therapy Toothpaste, 5 Ounce

I have to say that after almost a month using this toothpaste I have seen a positive difference in my teeth. I read an article about tea tree oil (the plant is native to Australia) being used to treat gum disease effectively so I decided to try it. I'd used baking soda to brush my teeth before so I thought the combination was a good one. The taste isn't as strong as using baking soda alone and in combination with the tea tree oil leaves my mouth feeling fresh without the strong mint flavor of so many toothpastes. It isn't gritty either. Tea tree oil is supposed to be an efficient antiseptic that kills bacteria fast as well as being soothing to your gums for people with sensitive teeth, like me. I have used sensitive teeth formulations, from the mega toothpaste companies, that all warn you not to use the product long-term. This product doesn't have that chilling warning because the ingredients are different when you read the tubes. If you are looking for a natural toothpaste with a mild flavor this is definitely worth a try.

I am not sure if the tea tree oil in this to lower the bacteria in the month will reduce bad breath or not. But the baking soda definitely keeps my mouth fresher all night when I brush before bedtime compared to traditional fluoride toothpastes. Also, since this does not contain fluoride, it is safe to swallow compared to most toothpastes that are not and it is much safer for the environment. Fluoride is a toxic chemical that should never have been put in tooth paste or drinking water as it then enters our sewers and is bad for the environment. My dentist requires for my bone health that I avoid fluoride. This toothpaste is thick and comes out of the tube nicely until used up. Some may not like the light tea tree oil taste, but you get used to it after using it a few times.

works well so far ,could use some more mint in it tho to give that fresh breath feeling..

A friend of mine who is super-into natural products let me try this toothpaste. I had been using Tom's non-fluoride formula but even that stuff has other crap in that I'd rather not put in my body. I've tried tea tree oil and baking soda pastes in the past and didn't like the taste or the gritty feeling it left.This toothpaste is so awesome I ordered it as soon as possible. All natural ingredients, pleasant taste, and my mouth feels so fresh afterwards that I never want to switch back. I think the parsley seed and sunflower oils help mellow out the harshness that can be typical of tea tree dental hygiene products.Give this a try and you'll wish you had done it sooner!

The taste of the tea tree is a little too much for me. I didn't like it but my husband didn't mind. To each his own.

Good toothpaste

A natural toothpaste with great taste & excellent cleaning & teeth feel clean.

I initially purchased this because I read about the benefits that Tea Tree had and how it works wonders for skin tags. Well, I had an annoying skin tag and of all places, I happened to get one at the tip of my tongue! Blasphemy! After much research, I decided to give this toothpaste a try despite how weary I was to be trying something I never thought I would use for my teeth let along, put in my mouth, but hey, I was willing to give just about anything a try at this point just to rid that annoying tag on my tongue.So I purchased this at the beginning of October '17 and after a month of using this in conjunction with the Tea Tree Mouthwash, the skin tag on the tip of my tongue has diminished and shrunken to a point where I don't see it or feel it in my mouth, HOORAY!!! I can now cancel my doctor's appointment that I had scheduled for this way in advance. TBH, I didn't think this would work at first, but after a few weeks, I'm pretty stoked at the results! This really helps keep my teeth/gums feeling clean and my breath super fresh! You only really need a small amount as I would also use this on my tongue which is how the tag completely disappeared! I will definitely be buying more as this has now become my go-to!
