Let down by the shabby mounting for the second display
This looks just like its photographs and works exactly as shown. The only difference for me is that my receipt printer is shorter but longer and so does not fit neatly into the recess provided for a printer. Also, it is cream in colour. This is a solidly built stand, powder coated in black, and it comes with a bag containing a screwdriver and small wrench plus screws to fix it in place. The principal screen holder is beautifully designed to provide a secure housing for an iPad. If the second mounting for a tablet had been as a well designed this point-of-sale stand would have deserved five stars despite its hefty price tag.As it is, the second tablet mounting is merely a flat plate with an adhesive surface. A square of double sided adhesive is supplied separately. This is to be attached to the back of your second tablet and then the whole assembly is to be stuck to the mounting plate. While this undoubtedly works it is a rather shabby design. It is cheap! Something similar to the first mounting plate would be preferable. If it is possible to specify what tablet can be used in the Pprincipal mounting plate it should be equally possible to specify the tablet to go in the second one. Alternatively, there are ways to make smart tablet mountings discreetly adjustable. Mounts for cars show how this can be achieved.I think the designers of this POS stand could have done so much better. It is desirable in a retail situation to have ancillaries which looks smart and professional. Gluing a tablet to a piece of metal is not smart and professional. I have dithered between three and four stars and finally settled on four; A better mounting for the second tablet would have elevated my rating to five.
