We rescued 3 budgies from terrible living conditions 5 months ago and this was the food we chose to transition them with. They came from no human interactions and a dirty cage with only very basic store seed being offered in small amounts. Our goal was to feed them a mix of fresh with some seed mix. I researched and landed on this food. It took about 2 weeks for them to fully transition (we did this quick because their current seed mix was junk). After about 2 months visitors commented on how their colors had gotten brighter. Around that time we started offering fresh food daily. Now after 5 months they get excited seeing their food coming and will step into our fingers to get close. A bonus they don't throw this food like they did the others. And they now prefer the fresh over the seeds. Thank you for making a wonderful product. We now have this on subscription.

My little parrotlet loves it!!! She spent a good 5 min chowing down the 1st time I gave it to her. Usually she only stays put to eat seed for a minute or 2 tops, so I was amazed! Smells so good & fresh! I love a seed mix without filler pellets!! 2 weeks later she still goes to this before other seed mixes I have out for her. She doesn't eat the oats regularly but goes through cycles where for a few days she will munch some. Probably associated with what minerals her body needs if nesty or molting. It's really not much waste & I like that it's there if she wants/needs it. I will continue buying! So glad to find a seed mix small enough for parrotlets! I've tried a few that are even marketed as parrotlet specific & a lot of the seeds are too big for these bubs.

Our parakeet loves this food! He sees the bag and gets so excited. He has never done that before with the other bird food. He is healthy and happy!

It was exactly what I expected

Great food and I believe my 8 parakeets love it. Some of my birds more than others. I'm mixing it with 2 other high quality seeds. I find it's a bit expensive, I won't lie, but I would think the quality is what matters.

I purchased this product in December 2025. I own two parakeets. They refuse to eat it. I am surprised it's organic, vitamins, other good stuff. My girls are not sold on it. Sorry
