Nice quality product. Plugged into the included 100w PD power brick (heavy & solid) and the silicone-sheathed USB-C cable, and it roared to life. This thing heats up fast. I’m talking “ready before I can find my tweezers” fast. The variety of tips covers everything I need, from tiny board touch-ups to thicker wires, and the case is also pretty nice, compact, organized, and sturdy. The first unit I received stopped working after the first use. It was over a month past the Amazon return window, but the seller sent me an entire new unit at no cost. The replacement arrived very quickly. Since then, it’s been rock-solid. Stable temps, quick recovery, clean joints. If you want a portable iron that’s genuinely capable and backed by responsive support, this one’s an easy yes.

Everything works great so far. My old iron was a basic Weller, so this is a really nice upgrade for me. I don't solder very often, so I can't justify buying a dedicated soldering station. The iron heats up super quick. Just a few seconds versus several minutes with my old iron. It's comfortable hold and work with. The grip is fairly close to the tip of the iron, so it's not nearly as fiddly to work with as basic irons. The included USB power supply has worked perfectly. The USB cable is a nice silicone one, so it's not stiff at all. You're not fighting it and it doesn't get in the way. All of the included tips worked well in my testing. I really like that it came with a decent assortment. The included storage case is really nice. I only wish it had room for the power supply as well. I didn't care for the animation where the numbers rolled over when heating up, but if you update the firmware there's an option to disable that. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would definitely buy it again.

As someone pretty new to soldering, I found the FNIRSI HS-02A to be a great entry-level tool. It heats up quickly, and the digital display makes it easy to see and adjust the temperature. The three pre-set temperature settings are a lifesaver—I didn’t have to constantly guess what temperature I should be using for different projects. The iron is lightweight and feels comfortable to hold, which helped a lot with my control as I practiced. It also comes with several tips, which made experimenting with different types of joints and tasks easy. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instruction manual could be a little more beginner-friendly. I had to look up a few things online to understand how to set the presets and change tips properly. Once I figured it out, though, everything worked smoothly. Highly recommended if you’re just getting into electronics repair or DIY soldering!

I am a hobbyist who fixes his own stuff but don't have a dedicated room in the house for doing so - only a large desk. I have a couple really nice soldering/rework stations but it is a PIA to drag them out. Everytime I need to fix/solder/rework/3-D print I have to drag the equipment out, set it up, and then put it away. Most of my jobs take less than an hour of soldering time but that time spans a couple days where other things need to be done on that desk. I found that I was using a sub-$10 digital soldering iron with a 1-2 minute heat time - even for replacing SMD components - rather than pushing aside a big soldering station so I could use a power supply or an oscilliscope or breadboarding stuff or the computer keyboard. Decided to treat myself to this modern device - and it has been so very nice so far. Short tip is perfect, feel is good, heat-up is measured in seconds not minutes. Temp is accurate. Switching between lead-free and normal solder temps is super easy and happens at the expected displayed temp which seems to maintain itself as heat exits the tip and goes into the part. The various tips and 100W available means I can solder 16AWG wires and SMD components with the same thingy. The nice, heavy, long USB-C cable stays where you put it and you don't have to worry about melting your power cable as you move it around. Cools fast. Fits in a desk drawer or a glove compartment so you can pull it out when needed.

This little iron is a gem! I bought for work travel as service technician and it gets super hot super fast. Defaults to 65W for any temperature change so be advised if you need it stronger you can go into settings and change this setting. Does a good job for small SMD work even. Nice selection of tips and good 100W adapter included. Did notice that if you do go into settings and try to increase the wattage to 100% the unit will shut itself off seems to be safety feature perhaps. So if needed higher wattage than default 65% make sure to only go to like 98% max. Very portable, lightweight, and easy to use just be aware there are sub menus if needing to make some adjustments.

A great soldering iron. Make sure you have a fairly high-wattage USB-C PD source (I use a 100W power bank) but if you have that then it does a great job with soldering. It's easy to use, a nice size and weight, and gets plenty hot and quickly. It's a nice value if you're in the market for an easy-to-carry soldering solution.

This thing was awesome for the first three times I used it. It heats crazy fast and works like a charm, and packs easily into a go-bag toolkit. It comes with multiple tips and all the accessories you need for basic home/auto/RV/boat repair (USB-C wall wart, 100W cable, even a tiny stand with sponge). However, on the fourth use, I stumbled on a system menu and got curious like the proverbial cat at the firmware upgrade option. Once you select that, the device is indefinitely bricked unless you can succeed at installing firmware. Or, you have to wait several excruciating minutes for the system to give up and return to normal operation.

I picked up this FNIRSI HS-02A portable soldering iron because I wanted something small, fast and easy to use for quick fixes. It turned out to be a lot better than I expected. The heat up time is impressive. It hits working temperature in a few seconds and the built in presets make it easy to switch between different jobs without fiddling with settings every time. The temperature accuracy feels reliable and the readings stay steady. I’ve been using it on wiring, small electronics and a couple of repair projects and it never struggled. For something this compact, it puts out plenty of power. The handle feels good in the hand and the kit comes with everything you need to get started right away. It packs up small, runs clean and the controls are simple to understand. If you want a portable soldering iron that heats fast and actually feels like a proper tool, this one is a great pick.

This product is sold with an American plug on the power supply and cannot be used in Europe without buying a separate adaptor even though FNIRSI actually produce the power supply with a European plug.
