These worked well to extend the reach of our solar panels

Bought a 30ft and a 20ft to extend the reach of my 2 solar panels for my camping setup. They were easy to install, are easily recognizable (red/black color), and were in the right price range. Would absolutely recommend these to others with similar needs.

I live in an apt third floor, with a small balcony with not enough sun hours to charge my solar battery so now I connect my battery hanging the extencion out of my window to the portable panels that I place on the sidewalk. When it's charge I pull the cords back into the apt and pick my panels from downstairs , it's a lot of work but beggers can be choosers due to our eternal energetic crises after Maria huracane and constantly power outages that's our life in Puerto Rico.

The connections work well with other MC4 and the added length lets me set the portables further out in the sun. I run my portables in series to minimize voltage sag.
