Tested on a recent flight. This mount is seriously impressive. Clamps onto tray tables very tightly and is very adjustable so you can angle your phone as much as you want. I also appreciated the suction cup to hold onto my phone in addition to the magnet for MagSafe.

Good product definitely does its purpose

This thing works fantastic. It comes with a mag-safe ring, which I put on the back of my iPad(it’d be nice if Apple built this in). Flying on Delta in C+, it attached at eye level to the seat-back table in front of me easily and I was able to watch some downloaded shows for hours without my neck hurting from looking down like I normally would. In Delta FC seats, it attached to the screen thing that tilts a little and this worked great for a few hours too. While I don’t think the suction cup would hold it by itself, when you have both the suction cup and mag-safe, it’s locked on pretty tight. I also found it’s a great handle for holding your iPad instead of wrapping your arm around it.

The clamp is narrow. Other than that, it’s perfect for traveling.

Flew Southwest recently and had some difficulty finding a good spot to attach the clamp onto in order to use my phone. Also, the magnet is a bit understrength, but I was able to be a bit creative and make it work. I do have a large, heavy phone with limited space to put the metal piece, but I have a phone holder in the car that works fine, so I think a heavier magnet would be better. I was able to watch my movies and read so as I noted, I did make it work.
