Appreciably thicker than most other thermal compounds
While no testing was performed to actually determine the thermal transfer effectiveness, I felt compelled to relay to others that this compound is quite a bit thicker (high viscosity and thixotropic) than other compounds that I have used, and even separated in a small section at the top of the jar where it had thinned out from being poured in (which concerns me a little). It definitely requires more compression force to press the heatsink onto the applied surface. As an analogy, think of it being more like a very thick paste, than a slightly thinner cream. Or, more like "cream cheese" vs "tooth paste".Kudos in that the actual quantity is 150g as stated, unlike some other vendors that required returning their far lower than stated product weight. Packaging was SUPERB!

First impressions
**These are my initial impressions, but do consider curing time also longevity of use to proof quality and functionality within product's life span**I am a pride user for thermal paste products, another words, anytime product supplies a "thermal pad", i substitute with descent thermal paste.Recently I decided to upgrading my all NAS server storage from mechanical HDDs to entirely of M.2 16TB+ capacity (2TB M.2 sticks). Thermal paste becomes costly if you are in the same situation as I which need to cover lots of surface areas and on-going maintenance upgrades.I have previously used other thermal brands, cheap, medium, premium, no-brand, premium brand you name it.. but most recent favorite for me over-all-specification with cost factor considered, it was the K5 branded thermal compound and I was quite happy with it.So this time I am willing to try this new Maxtor brand (seems like a new brand in the thermal paste market)Pros:* Claims to have Thermal Conductivity 12 W/mK (compare to K5-Pro has thermal conductivity 5.3 W/mK)* More affordable (compare to K5-Pro cost/per weight)* 3x spatulas* 3x finger glovesCons:* 5 year life span, shell life unclear (compare to K5-Pro No expiration date, Infinite storage / service life) (see summary)Summary:* Product pricing & quality seems very descent, no sign of dehydration, its also double lid tightness design (like the K5-Pro).* Product seems to be slightly more slimy as in "softer liquidy" in comparison to K5 so it should be easier to apply.* At this time, I only have M.2 to apply, thermal conductivity performance on the M.2s seems very satisfied (no debate here, for those who knows what to look and expect).* Just a theory & justification, considering heat is the #1 factor to all semi-conductors damage with aging, what good is it if K5 out lasts the semi-conductor @ 5.3w/mk thermal conductivity? might as well dissipate more heat to extend life of semi-conductors at 12 w/mk with little more maintenance.
