Love it. It was very easy to install. There was no adhesive that came with it only screws, which I was a bit disappointed because I don’t want to screw it into my sliding doors cause they’re plastic. If fit perfectly, the look of it is nice and it’s very secured.

This product really works. My grandkids have given up on trying to open the sliding door, I love it. Only issue I had is that I had to screw into the sliding door, not all sliding doors are the same.

This item is exactly what I wanted! Inexpensive, great quality and durable. Simple to install while providing security!

Installed and it broke my glass cost me 1500 to replace my entire door

Fits nicely

Once these locks are installed they do a good job. They operate smoothly and are easy to lock and unlock, either with your hand or foot. They don’t come with any instructions and I didn’t realize there were several ways to mount them until after I installed them. That’s when I realized the photos in the listing show various mounting options. For my sliding doors, there isn’t enough space for the screws to clear if I mount them at the top of the door. The screws would hit the door itself and keep it from sliding. The other issue is mounting the sliding part on the door itself. I needed to keep drilling small holes in the doorframe to find a place that it wouldn’t hit the glass or metal piece inside the frame. I finally found a position that I could use three screws, but had to leave the fourth screw hole empty. I still think the mounts are strong enough to keep someone from breaking them off. I chose to install it so I can lock my door in a couple different open positions rather than adding additional security when the door is closed.

Nice to feel secure

This feels like it secures my door more so than the dowel rod I've been using for a decade. The door won't budge when it's locked, yet it's very easy to latch and unlatch.
