Awesome Humidifier with excellent features
I've been in the market for a humidifer because my kid is having tonsil surgery and we were told that it would speed up recovery, and this one was the one I went with because I've got several SwithBot products already and have been really happy with them so far. To start, setup is really easy both with the hardware and getting it into the app as well. Setting up the device is as simple as unboxing and filling the tank with water and plugging the device in. Alternatively, you can also pair it up with a SwitchBot mop/vac and it will refill its tank from the mop's tank through a little port on the bottom of the humidifier - super cool feature that really blew me away. I have a regular switchbot vacuum that doesn't have the mop feature, so I wasn't able to test this but that might be reason for me to get one. Setting it up in the app was as easy as hitting "add new" and letting it find the nearby device and adding it to the wifi. It's as easy as can be. Once it's in the app, you can control it directly in the app or with the buttons on top of the device (pictured) which I like a lot - some of the smart devices tend to force you to use the app which really makes it tough when you want to just walk up and push a button on it, or if the kids want to control it without an app. It has multiple settings for the intensity of humidity, and I also really like that it's not a heavy mist that condenses on the ground or is super visible and "foggy" like other cheap ones I've had. It appears completely transparent to me and is also very quiet so easy to keep in a room with, say, a tv and not have it be a disruption. The other thing I really like about this one is that when the water runs out, the light on top turns bright red to let you know so there's no mistaking it. In other models I've had, it's easy to let the water run out and not realize it. There are only two downsides I've found on this model that I didn't care for - and even these are really nitpicky. The first one is that the tank feels a little small for the size of the device BUT that's probably because of all the tech that's otherwise in this device - it has multiple filters that it runs through, and they're all reusable stuff so I give that a pass. The other one is that the default lights are SO bright. I had to leave them on sleep mode all the time because they're too bright to be in a normally lit room without lighting the whole room up - that's great for when it's out of water, but other times it's just kind of annoying. That said, you can easily change the settings and dim those lights so not a real issue. The last one is that the instructions have a lot of criteria for how close you can set it to anything and that makes it a challenge to stay within those guidelines for me and meet the manufacturer's suggestion, but I think they're probably just "for best results" and not rhard requirements so I'm also not terrible concerned about that either. Overally, this is a really excelllent product and I am very happy with the ease of setup and the overall functionality and reliability of it.

Mist-Free, Tap Water Friendly, and Auto Refill!
I've been using this humidifier for a while, and it's been fantastic! It uses special technology that provides humidified air without generating a lot of mist. I also love that I can use my SwitchBot S10 to refill the water through their app. Plus, I can use tap water, so no more buying purified water! The app is offering different humidity settings and scheduling features, also working with the Meter Pro to automatically adjust based on the room's humidity levels. Their washable filter is another big plus. Overall, it’s a well-designed, easy-to-use, and efficient humidifier!

Great humidifier. Smart and functional.
Perfect for my needs. 1 on the bedroom and 1 on the living area. Maintains a steady 40ish percent humidity. To do so requires sensors not included with the humidifier. Minimum humidity setting is 40% and it would be nice if they’d let you go lower as when the temps get super cold that can cause condensation on windows. Easy enough to game by “calibrating” the humidity of the sensor to read higher but would be nice to not rely on a workaround. Filters and humidifier are easy to clean which was one of the main reasons for purchase. And the filters being reusable cuts down own cost of ownership.

Extremely difficult to keep clean
UPDATE: SwitchBot reached out to provide a full refund. While I still think this product is not good and will leave the one star review up, the company is however worth taking a chance on. For context I have their switch and it works phenomenal. This is a review after almost a year of purchase, and I can say officially now I hate it. I’ve had 20 various models of humidifiers and none has ever grew mold like this. After storing it during summer, all cleanable parts were cleaned and sanitized at the beginning of this season (which is a lot more work than the product description makes it out to be because the filter is only the easiest part where as the water tray has all sorts of nook and crannies), including the filter that was washed and dried thoroughly, and yet after a few days the room it humidifies started to smell off and once opened, the entire tray is covered in grayish mold. The filter still looks fine but it’s the water at the bottom of the tray that is growing mold. Only distilled or RO water was used too. Obviously I’m glad this wasn’t humidifier for a kids room/nursery and will be throwing this away because this level of maintenance is not sustainable.

Impressive/tap water friendly/Easy with phone
I am a big IOT fan, I try to make smart home as much as possible. This product so far provided the most comprehensive features I need, connect to WiFi, control over phone, easy to onboard I bought the humid detector from them couple weeks ago, came across this humidifier. I am very happy with previous product since it can use phone to tell me when my room humidity is too low so I can turn on the humidifier Came across this product, it s surprisingly easy to setup over the phone, no QR code, no complex asking, just click next next next and u done. This one is expensive for sure, but it s also my first cold evaporator humidifier. It s way way way better than the cheap ones, i can tell from my itch dry skin. And I CAN USE TAP WATER! And I CAN AUTOREFILL with their Vaccum bot ( I will try later since refill is also a pain) And I CAN AUTO on/off and forget about water used too fast Well, smart, is all I can say, dry skin, hopefully byebye, tap water friendly, nothing to complain If u are a smart home person, can be good candidate, if u think phone connection too much, this might not be good to u since u will pay features u don’t need ======update ======= Tank is big but not big enough, if ur dryness is 25%, then ur humidifier will on always and ur water is likely out after 4hrs and keep the humidity around 40%

Smart humidifier - easy on the eyes, good for the nose
Like all Switchbot products, this one is simple yet elegant looking. It’s pleasing right out of the box and the matte white exterior has an attractive texture to go with an understated presence. It’s larger than I expected so those with smaller spaces may want to make sure it fits. But it’s got a fair sized tank and three speeds plus an auto function if you pair it with a humidity meter. (One other interesting function is “auto-fill” which uses Switchbot’s robot mop as a water mule to bring water from the mops base to the humidifier. I don’t own one so can’t report on it; am also unsure how well it would work in a carpeted environment like mine.) The unit is fairly quiet even when the fan is high as you can tell on the video, and the sound is a relaxing white noise type. Sleep mode turns all the lights down and lowers the fan. Auto, paired with the meter, determines what and how to do things itself. I am looking forward to having this ready to go for the winter when things get drier. Having a connected device with the ability to schedule itself is going to be great for those cool dry evenings! I’ve yet to see how the self drying mechanism works yet or how long the filters last but for now, very happy with this humidifier!

Doesn't Work.
I set up the humidifier as per directions and paired it to a SwitchBot IP65 Indoor Outdoor Hygrometer Thermometer. Everything seems ok however the wick is not getting wet. My guess is the pump isn't working. What's even worse is iI called the phone number for support and it instructs you to contact support. I sent an email to support and did not receive a response. Update 03/09/25 - it took four days for the folks at Switchbot to get back to me. After that they sent me around 6 emails trying to make things right. Because I returned the humidifier and bought a different brand humidifier there wasn't much they could do but they really made a big effort to make up for my defective item. If I had to rate their customer service I would give them 5 stars and I would not hesitate recommend them as a company based upon their excellent customer service.

Exactly what I needed
Exactly what I needed. I love that this doesn’t leave any white dust and doesn’t spew out white mist. It’s the perfect size and stable enough where the dogs can’t tip it over easily. It’s also quiet and easy to control via the app. The only thing I wish it did have was a screen to tell me what the current humidity is, but overall, I’m happy with this humidifier.
