This is exactly what I needed and at an affordable price. I have a relatively small weight and this fits it perfectly!

Perfect size for home. The quality is good. I didn't want to get one that needed to be put together. This is one solid piece which is what I was looking for.

Very sturdy

Quality bar. Fit my needs perfectly. If you need a shorter bar and have 1" weights, this is what you need. Good knurling on the handle. The threaded collars do come loose but I have never had any that stayed tight.

Seems like a good product at first glance. It feels sturdy and looks as advertised. My main issue is that it was poorly packaged. The box that it was in is not enough to hold this amount of weight so the product was sticking out of a hole it created at the bottom of the box when I received it.

It gets the job done. The price is right and this barbell is solid.

i'd originally gotten a 2" olympic barbell at a local sporting goods store from a very respectable brand. i was astounded to find it came in 3 pieces, and the metal pieces holding the sections together were such a pain to put in that the bar was not able to be assembled. since this was for home use of moderate weight for fitness, a 1" bar was fine for me, BUT i had had it with barbells that needed assembly. so this came right out the box ready to use, and it's extremely well made with really great and secure starlocks, and i simply love it. decent price too. if you don't want to be shocked at having to 'assemble' a straight bar, and even worse finding out it won't assemble easily or properly because of whatever, i could not recommend this more highly.

* This is for 1" Weight Plates * A barbell is pretty much a barbell. Though, this barbell has special dimensions compared to others. I use this with one of the Oopsdecor folding benches. I have a smaller room that I also wanted workout equipment in so I had to go more compact. Can be used for many other applications due to the special size, make sure to check it out, grab your measuring tape if needed! I took a few days to measure the area I needed,researched all bars/dimensions. I am glad I did, this bar worked out perfectly for my situation. A standard bar would not have allowed me to spread my hands out for bench press on the Oppsdecor bench. ***If you do not have a folding Oopsdecor bench, you can ignore this extra information, below*** If you have the oopsdecor bench that folds like I do, the barbell will stop the bench from fully folding up. You can move the rack arms/pin, to the proper height which allows the bar to fit in between the bench seat. There is a small gap between the bench and the seat. I then used a small Allen Wrench to secure the bench, at the bottom hole. When using this method, the supplied pin will not fit the bottom of the bench, it will be too thick for the hole. This is due to the Barbell making contact with the seats bar. Odd design, I know but with the information provided it will work. Read it again and look at the bench if it is confusing. I had to step back myself and think about it. I did not return it because it was cheap and the size/folding option is what I needed. Enjoy!

I have used bars of this type for many years, this was bought as a replacement, I chose it as it has a bit of extra length and was very good value. When it arrived it was as good as anything I’ve ever had, had a very good price, additionally the seller made a good effort with the packing and sent it to me without any trouble.

Not much to at about a weight lifting bar. It’s well made, solid and for the amount of weight I train with it’s all I need. Good value for the money.

I didn't want an enormous barbell if at all possible, as I am constrained by space, so after some research, I plumped for this 55" one. Must say, I'm really impressed with it. There is a good, reassuring weight to it, and it has been both well cast, and finished in a black gloss paint job, along with matching quality knurled nuts. There are no 'burrs', or casting marks, and most importantly, it doesn't show any signs of being liable to bend. The screw thread is well finished, and the knurled nuts sit snug on the bar end thread. (I use a quick release clip for convenience, but at least I know the nuts are reliable should I need them. All in all, a really good quality barbell bar, at a decent price point.
