Pomegranate Seed Oil
A little over a month ago I fell off my electric scooter (yeah, a 70 year old on an electric scooter).I tore up my face pretty good, as well as cracking some teeth. The biggest gouge was under my nose, right at the philtrum. Once the (large and thick) scab fell off, the skin there still felt tight when I would move my mouth to smile. There is also some small scarring. When I saw the listing for this and the scar reduction claim, I figured I would give it a try.Well, much to my surprise, with the application of this oil, the tightness was very much relieved. This product is oil--it smells nice, and a very little goes a long way. There is an eye dropper to use to apply the oil, but I think if you filled that dropper, you could probably spread it over almost your entire body.Bottom line: for me, so far so good.

Thick oil, so-so scent
This is the first time I have used Pomegranate oil, so I don’t know what is expected for the oil. The coloring is a light yellow and it seems fairly thick—it reminds me of the consistency of castor oil, but seems to absorb faster with a little less stickiness. The scent seems to be a basic earthy/nutty oil smell (I was using a rosehip seed oil around the same time and they smelled the same to me). After it has absorbed into the skin, it does leave the area soft and smooth feeling. At the time I ordered this oil, the listing indicated the country of origin as USA. Per the box and bottle, the oil is bottled in the USA, but no indication is given about where the oil was produced prior to bottling. The expiration date (located on the box but not the bottle) was 3/30/26, so approximately one and a half years left for the shelf life. Note: While this product has the “USDA organic” label, I could not find the certifier located anywhere on the box or bottle, which seemed strange.

Quality product but overpriced
Pomegranate Seed Oil is known to help with inflammation and joint pain and this product is 100% pomegranate seed oil and is good stuff. I rub it on my hands as I massage my finger joints and it works as well as any other pomegranate seed oil. A little goes a long way so I just use a few drops at a time. However, the price is high and not very competitive to other pomegranate seed oils that I can buy locally or find on Amazon. Sure, you can pay even more than this one costs but you can certainly find it for much less with similar quality.

Lovely Pomegranate Seed Oil
I've recently read a lot about the benefits of Pomegranate Seed Oil, so I thought I'd try this in my regime. I've never used it before, so I don't have a comparison. It is a mid-weight lovely feeling oil, not too heavy or light, and is odorless. I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a nice oil. I have not used it enough to know how effective it is, or pomegranate seed oil, in general. I am primarily using this around my eyes at night as my final step.

Rancid Oil?!
I think I got a bad batch here. The box I received had a lot number, expiration date in 2026 and a plastic safety seal. As expected of pomegranate seed oil, the color is a light amber hue, the consistency is nice and thick, and the bottle is otherwise intact. Unfortunately, it literally stinks. It has a sour vinegar smell that I associate with rancid oils. Given the condition of the packaging, I can only speculate that oxidation occurred somewhere along the production line, but of course I can’t say for sure. What I am sure of is that the smell of this oil is far too unpleasant for me to use this product outside of testing for this review.

USA Product for Skin Conditions
I received this because pomegranate oil is known to aid in several skin conditions and for scar recovery. The oil does have a very faint tallow type smell and a slight yellow tint. The oil is slightly more viscous than the kiwi oil I had previously been using. I tried this on the backs of my hands. A small drop goes a long way. It immediately smoothed out my skin, reducing the appearance of dryness. There is a noticeable difference from the hand it was applied on vs the other. It leaves a bit of a greasy feel at first but does absorb in after a short period of time. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the very slight odor. I'm also hesitant to apply it to my face until I'm sure it won't cause a breakout because it's so oily. However, for dry winter skin, I will definitely be using it on my hands and other rough skin areas.

Feels light on the skin (for an oil) and is certified organic
This pomegranate seed oil is certified organic and feels light on the skin. It has a pleasant scent which, unsurprisingly, has a nutty (or I guess seed-y) smell. I don't know if it lives up to its claims about scar relief, but I know that pomegranate seed oil is high in omega-5 fatty acids (punicic acid) as well as antioxidants which are good for the skin. My only worry was that it would cause my skin to break out and thankfully that has not been a side effect.

USDA Certified Organic
Seems to be a great product! It's my first time experiencing pomegranate seed oil, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the luxurious feel of the oil on my skin, as well as the nice light smell, a little sweet, a little nutty scented. I really like it. No additives, just pure usda organic pomegranate see oil!
