Just couldn’t get on with it
I’d return it if it weren’t for relativity the low price it cost me.

Comfortable and airy, but not for long arms
Ordered to help with intermittent shoulder pain, this will be very useful. The fabric is mesh-like and is comfortable and airy. The strap is a strong webbing-type (see photo) with an adjustable buckle, and a padded area that is adequate but no more. It slides along the strap to make it easier on your neck and stop the strap digging in, but if you've got a heavy arm and a bare neck, you may wish to supplement it with more padding, particularly if wearing the sling for a several hours at a time. The listing says that the buckle can be easily adjusted with one hand . . . . . hmmm . . . . . there must be something I'm missing as I've not got that particular skill, but it's a simple type that is common on belts, rucksacks, etc, so I think that's my failing, not the sling! The listing also says it's suitable for sleeping — maybe. It's certainly breathable and soft (it's a lightweight fabric), but I don't think I'd want to wear any sling 24/7 - it's certainly not the advice I've received from the hospital in the past, but maybe for other medical problems????For an average sized woman, the sling gives some wrist support — if a bare arm is put in, the sling comes just about up to the base of the fingers, and supports the weight of the hand to some extent. This would lessen if, say, a sweater was worn so the elbow couldn't tuck in as much. For an average-sized man, the sling gives no wrist support — it ends exactly on the wrist, so the hand just dangles. I'm sure this would be OK if the wrist were in a plastercast, but may cause problems or discomfort if not. Something to bear in mind, and I've included a tape measure in the photo so you can judge if it meets your requirements. One star lost as, for our family, it's only suitable for the women, not the men.

Helped with a rotator cuff injury,
Why pay £30 for a sling when you can pay £5. This is a cheap and cheerful arm sling, the neck strap is a little narrow for my liking but for the current asking price of just under £5 I am not complaining too much.I have an ongoing rotator cuff injury and this sling has been good in keeping my arm and shoulder supported whilst the muscle knits together .4 out of 5 stars, A little wider strap would get it 5 from me
