Living in the northeast this has been a savior! Goes easily over the spigot and stays put. Our pipes have not froze once since this purchase and I couldn’t be more thankful!

These outdoor faucet covers are an easy win before the cold sets in. The material feels thick and weather-resistant, and installation took maybe ten seconds — slip over the faucet, tighten the drawstring, done. They’ve already handled a few frosty nights without any leaks or freezing. The reflective stripe is a nice touch for spotting them at night, and the two-pack means both front and back faucets are covered. A simple, inexpensive way to avoid a burst-pipe headache this winter

These are pretty straightforward and easy to install but I'd be surprised if they offer much insulation. The limiting factor seems to be a velcro seal which isn't necessarily providing insulation all the way to the house. I don't think I'd recommend purchasing these when you can likely accomplish the same thing by taping a rag around spouts.

A little bit more difficult to install than the typical styrofoam covers, but I think it’s because they are a thicker material and higher quality, so we didn’t see that as a negative. They seem to be working well and holding up to the snow and winter weather well so far!
