What Dreams Are Made Of
This is perfection.Alright, I waited two weeks after buying this mattress to give it my undivided attention...as much attention as you can give something when you are sleeping of course. I wanted to give myself time to adjust to a new surface (it can take around 10-14 days for your neck and back to fully assimilate).I spent weeks before biting the bullet and pressing buy researching various mattress companies. What I was looking for: Something relatively soft. Something cooling. Something that offered support for back and side sleepers. Something that would not break the bank. Something that would last longer than a year.So the Verdict: This mattress is firm in the sense that it is memory foam. If you are going from a spring mattress to this it will feel so firm at first. When we first lay on it I was concerned that I would find it awful. It took a few days to adjust, but honestly I've never slept better. The mattress is designed to support pressure points. Honestly it's better for your back and spine to get this and invest in a topper/mattress pad that adds comfort. If you absolutely are worried it's going to be too firm, go for the soft version. Although I will mention the medium is designed for both side and back sleepers for proper spine alignment. The other thing was the need for something to be cooling. My bf and I are both warm sleepers, and memory foam can be hot. The Brooklyn is designed with three layers of foam, the two cooling ones layered on top. We haven't had any issues with warmer-than-before sleeping so it seemed to really work. The price, well, it is worth it and every other cooling mattress I seemed to research that seemed to actually work and be reletivly soft were going up in the thousands. A mattress which you use every day is an important investment but I also want to buy a house eventually. This seemed to be on the middle of more than the ones that were questionable in quality and ones that were out of budget. While I've had it less than a month and can't attest to the lasting a year, it's a pretty safe bet we will have it longer. In the end: Please buy this, it is well worth it. Give it time to expand (ours took less than 12 hours). While there may be a smell from the plastic (as said in other reviews in several rolled up delivered foam mattresses) we couldn't detect anything. Do yourself a favor, invest in a nice mattress protector to extend it's life and protect yourself from dust and other things.

Signature King in Firm
Update 7/26/2020: 2 months later and this mattress is still awesome. We've never slept better (as a couple) and are so happy that we took the plunge and bought this. No problems yet, but will be sure to update again. 5/17/2020: This mattress arrived 2 days ago (in a box that looked like it had gone through the 9 circles of hell but the mattress was, thankfully, unscathed due to the plastic wrap job). It’s only been 2 days but we LOVE this mattress. Firm but not TOO firm - like a 7 on the firmness scale (I weigh 130lbs so it might feel softer to someone heavier). Much better than our previous pillow top mattress/sauna oven that cooked us into a sweaty mess every night. This bed has kept us cool and comfortable. My body is a little sore when I wake up but that’s expected when sleeping on new mattresses. And sleeping is great - I can’t feel my husband thrashing around anymore and, also, once we fall asleep WE BOTH SLEEP HARD.I will be sure to update in a few months!!!

its big!
Excellent mattress described accurately by advertising. Comfortable and stiffness is as stated. The single problem we have with it is size; it's wider than a stansard king by several inches. This is only a problem because our bed frame is in a slide on our motor home and space on the sides is limited. It's a tight fit getting in and the bed is more difficult to make.We still highly reccomend this mattress!

Very Good Mattress
We have had the King Hybrid Signature Mattress since the end of October. The medium is a medium firm. We don't have the "wow" factor with this bed, it does not cradle you in comfort, but it is comfortable, supportive, and I expect it to last. There is a lack of side support, but this is not a problem when sleeping unless you are overweight. Per a review from a customer earlier this December, I had a "chat" with the company, which I saved, before I bought the mattress on amazon. They stated they would back up their warranty, whether it was purchased on their website or on amazon. It gets to you quicker if you order on amazon.I am updating my review one year later. We like this mattress so much we bought another one for the beach house. My husband insisted we buy the same mattress. I noticed the price has dropped twice since the original and once from a week ago. Worth the money & Made in America.I am updating again 2 years after first mattress. We now just bought our third mattress. Brooklyn Bedding is now making Olympic Queen, which is 6" wider than a Queen, which we have had since the early 2000s. When we needed to replace this mattress 2 years ago, no one of significance was making this size, originally sold by Sealy, so we moved this bed upstairs and bought a King. But the time had come, we had to do something & they are now making this mattress! Anyway, long term, the Signature Hybrid is great. 2 years and counting.
