I would give this backpack 5 stars, but one of the backpack straps has ripped open at the seam. I'm hoping it doesn't rip apart the whole strap and make the backpack unusable. Other than that the backpack is great, doesn't hurt my back due to the weight of the contents inside, and protects my laptop!

Using for my second grader. He is very petite, but the straps tighten well to his thin little body. The backpack is over half the size of him, but it's awesome!! It will hold everything he brings home-and then some! So many pockets and storage.This would also be great for a teenager. There is a pocket that is padded to protect a laptop or tablet device. I currently use it to keep my young son's folders from being folded and bent to bits like last year! He loves it, too!

Pros: very sturdy, lots of padding to keep your laptop safe.Cons: the two front pockets are made in such a way that only long, thin things like paper will fit in to the 2nd pocket. That plus the fact that the material is thick and excessively padded in some places makes it not very space efficient. if you need to carry a lot of stuff you probably would prefer a different layout. even empty, the backpack is heavier than expected and bulky

Have had this bag for half a semester. The zipper stitching immediately came un-stitched and both zippers that close the large interior have fallen off. This bag has rendered useless. Shame because i really enjoyed it while it lasted the 2 months i had it. Avoid this bag and go with a better well built brand.

Looks just like the advertising except it is smaller than what I had anticipated.
