Great for the plane
I bought this for my 10 year old niece to take on the plane. She loved it and it kept her and her brother busy.

These are not individual cubes
The product is fine, but thought this was individual cubes to add to my kid's set and give him challenges to build. It is really a few tetris style pieces that fit together like a cube.

Building blocks, puzzle and card game all in one!
These magnetic blocks are great. Kids can learn about magnetism spatial awareness. They can follow the cards or use their imaginations to build their own creations. The students can compete to see who can complete their card first or cooperate to build some of the more challenging shapes. This is a great Montessori tool. If using in a classroom, I recommend getting multiple sets as there are not enough if a lot of students want to use them at the same time.

They snap together really easily with a satisfying click thanks to the magnets.
The bright colors and the way the plastic and metal mix together was super cool. The blocks themselves are fun to just mess around with, but the challenge cards take it to another level. There are over 100 puzzles to try and they're actually pretty tricky, even though the cards show you the answer! It's also nice that they look cool just sitting on a shelf. However, I do wish there were more blocks in the set because some of the cards need more pieces to complete the puzzles. And while younger kids might enjoy playing with them, I think they're best for kids who are a bit older and can really appreciate the puzzle aspect.

A favorite in the classroom
I got this for our preschool students to use during their free time, and it's usually the first item picked off of the shelf of toys. It's a really fun open-ended toy that people of any age would probably like to tinker with (I know I do). The preschoolers can't follow the cards yet (they're only 4), but some of my own kids who are a few years older like to use the cards to follow directions to put it back into a cube and the other cards that are like challenge cards. This would be great for any child that you'd like to work on attention span or just something to use to keep them engaged while waiting for whatever reason.
