Reggianito Cheese (12.5 ounce) 18 Month Aged Uruguayan Natural Gluten & Hormone free

I'm not a regular Amazon grocery shopper but I was pleasantly surprised how this cheese came packaged. It was in a styrofoam box with a cold pack in a regular box. My husband enjoys different cheeses so I decided to buy this one. It's a hard cheese that definitely reminds me of a Parmigiano Reggiano. I prefer it with salami or grated on pasta or risotto. Very nice with a red wine such as a cabernet sauvignon, too! I would definitely suggest giving it a try if you prefer a hard, strong tasting cheese.

The cheese tastes fine but we were expecting a whole wheel for the priceCame in a styrofoam box that wasn’t cooled, the cheese had melted in the bag, it made us sick but was still edible

Beautifully crafted and aged to perfection. This was something I never thought I would find on Amazon but I guess with acquiring Whole Foods Amazon has really ramped up their gourmet selection.I used this cheese as a topping as well as cooked in various dishes. It has good texture and melting point. The taste compares to ones priced much higher than this... I suspect it won't be long until the price goes up ; )Great quality and fast shipping.

This cheese is absolutely delicious! It had a slightly creamy taste comparable to Reggiano from Italy. Would highly recommend this cheese - great for snacking with antipasto, grating over pasta or in your favorite recipes that call for cheese!! Came packed fresh in styro-foam box with ice pack!!
