This item is definitely worth 5 stars. Purchased 10 months ago as I had hip surgery scheduled and with getting up in the middle of the night, I did not want to trip over my black dog or 2 cats. The light works perfectly and shuts itself off as it should. I only need to recharge it ever4-6 weeks if that and it recharges very quickly with the cord provided. The rail has been a Godsend in helping me get in and out of bed and turn over. The rail is soft yet solidly padded and yet does not slip when using. The bed rail has not moved from original position placed. It was easy to assemble with concise directions. Took about five minutes. It is very stable and well worth the money.

Bought for my mother in law. It fits on the bed well and enables her to get up easier. Only hard thing for her is the light needs to be recharged via usb and she forgets about that. Though, even that is super easy to do. Sturdy and in place on the bed well. Very good purchase.

It is difficult to put together if you're an elderly or disabled person

I bought this for my father who has a fractured hip. He needed extra support getting in and out of bed as well as standing to change clothes. This is sturdy and hasn't moved. I like that it has the legs that go to the floor. The motion activated light is a major plus. He doesn't need to turn the bedroom or hallway light on. This is a great item at a great price. It's super easy to put together. The light is USB rechargeable.

Great product. Easy to assemble. Legs make for a very sturdy bed rail and additional support for pull yourself up from a lying position. The night light is a great addition, along with the organizer bag for phone or some nighttime reading. Very pleased with this purchase, highly recommend.

The addition of this safety rail was a good choice as it helped the person get out of bed on their own. The storage bag was a good addition but it would be better if made a little larger in depth. As the pockets are tight for getting a tablet and other items in. But has helped to prevent me from injuring myself to help the person out of the bed.
