Bought this unit 2 months ago. I’ve been doing several projects and have been running it a few days during the week and nearly all day on the weekends. The timer and remote is really nice. Up to 6 hrs at a time. I just set it and forget it. I have a 2 car garage/400 sq ft for a work shop. I have it sitting on the end of my extension table of my table saw upside down so the fan blow straight up. Hasn’t bothered it any. Does a good job. Pulls a lot of crap out of the air. I sand on my tablesaw. It visibly pulls the fine saw dust toward the filter. It’s not a dust collection system, it’s an air filtration system. And it does a good job of that. You won’t believe what you have been breathing in your shop. I clean the filters with compressed air and it’s good to go. Because it pulls a lot out of the air, u will be cleaning the filters pretty often. I don’t know why people complain about filter clogging, tells me it’s doing what it is supposed to do, just clean the filters and u are back in business. Worth the money so far.

Easy to install, and works great at filtering fine saw dust particles from the air.

The install was easy and the quality seems great. I knocked off two stars for the noise. It rivals my shopvac for decibals. We'll see how it does for the intended purpose of smoke removal. I smoke cigars in my shop and wanted to scrub the air rather than vent with cold winter air in North Idaho. I may re-shop later for something quieter. On the plus side...excellent price for what you get!

Does well knocking down some of the dust in our shop. It is a bit loud on the highest setting, but quieter than some of the other ones we run

I got this as a gift for my mother who is a carpenter and does a lot of woodworking out of her basement. I tested it out before giving it to her and it is very powerful. The filters seem to be high quality and it moves a lot of air through it. My mother really likes it and said it does a great job filtering the dust out of her workshop. Would recommend this to anybody who does workworking.

**UPDATE** THIS DUST COLLECTOR ENDED UP NOT BEING WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS. ITS FAULTY AND CLOGS VERY EASY WITH MINIMAL DUST. I WILL BE RETURNING THIS. This dust collector fan is absolutely awesome. Its perfect for my home shop. Its not too big and not too small. Its just the right size. It functions as it should and it's really easy to install. Its a great value for the money spent. I would recommend this for every home shop

It works fine-- two points- It is noisy as heck, and the filters are hard to find.
