100-400 hood: Good value, does the job. JJC make good hoods for camera lens, just ordered one for another lens. Compared to the cost of the brand lens hood, this is great value. Also bought the hood for 18-150mm, great fit and product. Would buy from JJC again.

Excellent quality at a reasonable price. Easy to use and fits well.

Fits just like an original Canon hood, but removal isn't so smooth it has a tendency to catch when you pull it away from the lens

Excellent, well made lenses hood - LH-73D. Good, cheaper substitute for Canon's own brand. This is for my Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Zoom Lens. NOTE it does NOT fit my Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Zoom Lens (which needs the 'B' instead of the 'D' version of the lens hood. Although same nominal filter size and diameter there are minor (but significant) differences in the thickness of the hood fitting.

As supplied the bayonet thread was too thick to fit the lens without forcing. A combination of sand-paper and scratching with a craft knife fixed the problem.

Great for a 3rd party lens, could benefit from some flocking or felt inside to further reduce glare but the genuine Canon hood doesn’t have flocking either.
