Priced at £35.99 at the time of review, this football training kit for kids seems reasonable for the quality of items received. The kit includes a portable goal, training cones, an agility ladder, and convenient carry bags—everything you need to set up a complete training session right at home.The goal is easy to set up, just join the poles and feed through the material, and is surprisingly sturdy for its size. It’s perfect for younger players to practice their shots, and it exceeded my expectations. When I started assembling it in my flat, I realised it was a lot larger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I’ll upload another photo once I get it set up in my parents’ garden or at the park, but overall, this is a great kit for outdoor spaces.The cones, however, were a bit of a letdown. They are very thin and floppy, and arrived slightly misshaped from delivery. While folding them the other way helped improve their shape somewhat, they still weren’t ideal. They’re extremely lightweight, so you’d need to use them on a breezeless day or risk having to chase them around. They’re still functional for dribbling drills and as markers, but not as durable as I’d hoped.On the other hand, the agility ladder is a fantastic addition, helping to improve footwork, speed, and coordination. The ladder lies flat and stays in place even on uneven surfaces like grass, and various drills can be performed to help young players develop quicker, more precise foot movements.The carry bag is a huge plus. It’s compact and makes it easy to transport everything to the park or pack it away when done. The bag is well-made and fits all the items without any hassle. The material is thick and sturdy.Overall, despite the cones being a little disappointing, this kit is an excellent investment for any young footballer. It has everything you need to help kids develop their skills, and it’s great for fun family training sessions too. Highly recommend.Edited: It was a little more difficult to put the net together when you add all the connecting pieces, might not be the most convenient to take with you everywhere, was almost a workout on its own. Once up it was secure and a good size, I’m 5ft 7in for reference. Still think it’s a great piece of kit despite this.
