After doing my degree in fine art focusing on silverpoint I thought that I would try a new medium. Alcohol pens are very expensive so I wanted to try an all in one set before spending allot on something I may never use again. Having tried a few expensive ones from other artists I was pleasantly surprised when the pens arrived. The pigment was brilliant, especially the black. The range of colours was sufficient for experimenting and they blended quite well. I have only done some basic colouring in but I feel these would be great for some portraits I have in mind.The seller was lovely and answered all of my questions which was very helpful. The only negatives I would give is the box, it would be better placed horizontal so one end of the nib wouldn’t dry out and not being able to order colours individually. I tend to use allot of blues and greys for undertones so these run out very fast but colours such as orange I use very sparingly. Ordering colours separately would mean I could curate my collection of pens based on style. For the price they are very good and I will very much likely purchase again!

Brilliant product. As a first time alcohol-marker user this was my first experience of the type. I am very impressed with the pens and range of colours. The price too was very reasonable. I highly recommend these pens. As all alcohol markers they do bleed but just put some paper/cardboard behind the picture you are colouring to protect the next page. The colours dry very quickly once coloured on the paper. Easy to handle.

Great pens my daughter loves them. Perfect as a gift. They are smooth to use and have great pigment to them. They haven't leaked at all and none of them have dried out at all. These will go though a few pages if you don't use a piece of paper in-between each picture and I wouldn't recommend them for a colouring book with pictures on both sides of the paper.

I’m so happy with this purchase that I just had to leave a review, which I never usually do!This is the 4th set of pens I’ve owned and they are far and away the best.The colour set is perfect for my needs with all the tones I could possibly want and more. They feel really comfortable and application is super smooth too.The presentation box is a real upgrade on my old canvas bag sets. It looks great on the desk and i love the detachable handle that I can put on to carry them around should I need to.For just a few pounds more than the cheap sets I’ve bought before, this feels like a real upgrade and I feel like I’ve got a real bargain…which is always nice!

Great colour selection, good pens but they dry out very quickly. Mine only lasted one month

Why did you choose this product over others?:Because the quality of the pens are much nicer easy to read on the pen caps then some other marker pens the box look really smart and neat and compact. Pretty good for budget markers, nice range of vibrant colours, not streaky and blend well. One came damaged but still functional, don’t last long though, I’ve been using them to colour a page a day for about a month and most are drying out now which is a shame.

I’ve been on the hunt for a new set of reasonably priced alcohol based markers for a while. I’ve had sets before but the quality is hit and miss and I’m not a big fan of the canvas bags. I wanted something that would look ‘fancier’ on my desk and these look fantastic. The box is sturdy and the handle is tucked away inside the box during delivery and easy to take on and off.The pens themselves are great (I’ve tested every single one) with no leakage and they dry and blend better than any other set I’ve had within this price range. I had to rearrange them because I like to have all the similar colours together, but that was actually quite an enjoyable exercise and is the same as every other set I’ve bought before.This was a great purchase and a step up from any of the sets I’ve had previously. Judging by the number of reviews, Artista looks to be quite a new company, so I look forward to seeing and purchasing future products from them.
