Surprisingly soft, I've had my share fair of plushies and I was thinking this one was going to be firm but no, it can actually serve as a pillow. Good size too! Never had a FuRyu plushie so I can't say it's like their other plushies. But it's well made, if you're thinking of buying it, I'd say go for it. It's good quality for the price.
