Used in MR2 Spyder 2001 to replace a previous Android Head. Connection was straight forward. BT worked quick and pairing flawless. Using Apple CarPlay in seconds. All system working great. Only hiccup was back up camera listed wrong wire for trigger signal. Should be the pink wire. After a little research figured it out. Took about 1 hour including backup camera. Sure beat local BestBuy and Freeman’s. Best Buy refused to install radio even if I bought theirs. Car was not on their approved list. Freemans quoted 1500.00 for head and install. Final bonus…works with polarized sunglasses perfectly!

If you're going to install yourself you're going to find a little difficulty without the after market plastic dash adapters. Double check the wire positions in the connections. Just because they fit together doesn't mean that the wires are mating up.

I installed it and loved everything about it, it was seamless connection as soon as the car came my phone connected and played music through it. But after a few days it started to shut off randomly or wouldn’t even come on, the screen would go black and would not come back on for the remainder of my drive. This android radio is just what I was looking for for my old car that only has room for 1 din stereo. I had always wanted to upgrade the radio to have modern features right in the car console, but all the new systems had large screens. With this model I found what I was looking for. The installation is very simple if you have basic wiring knowledge, if not, I recommend seeking professional help or maybe a friend who is skilled with this type of connection. In my case, I did it myself using the original speakers in my car. Once I turned it on, I was surprised how quickly the system loads and especially how easy and fast the stereo works once I connect Apple CarPlay wirelessly. I only did this process once and from then on, every time I get in the car and crank de engine, my iPhone automatically connects to the stereo. The sound is good, I can't say it's the best, but it's really good for the price. The package comes with everything you need for installation and even includes a camera as well as a remote control to mount on the steering wheel. The image quality of the included camera is not very good, it has flickering, but it does its job. Personally I would recommend buying a better camera if you want better quality images of the rear of your car. Overall a very good option, especially for the price.

Works great for the price!

I bought this for my daughter's car primarily for the bluetooth phone capability. It came very fast and was easy for me to install. I have not installed the backup camera yet nor do I plan to at this point. I wanted a stereo with an external mic as they tend to have less feedback issues when utilizing the bluetooth phone. This was NOT the case with this unit. I cannot hear my daughter hardly at all. It sounds like she's in the bottom of a well. As a stereo, it is pretty good, easy to connect to your phone for music, but a waste of time for clear calls while driving. I plan to replace with something better that actually does what it claims. Save your money!

Install was pretty straight forward, but I had to install it in a different vehicle than I first wanted to. The screen stuck too far above the DIN mount to use. Overall this a decent budget entry into an Android based radio. The screen is nice and big, but the software is a bit slow on some things. One thing I really miss on these newer radios is a physical volume knob! You may have to find another wiring diagram, but mine showed the wrong wire for the backup camera trigger. Not a big deal, but could be frustrating for people who have not done installs like this before.
