The roti maker was purchased three weeks ago and has been used mainly to prepare chapatis on alternate days, so it has not been subjected to heavy or excessive usage. However, five days ago, while operating the appliance, we noticed a spark at the back of the unit, after which the house MCB tripped. We immediately unplugged the machine and attempted to use it again after a few hours. This time, the house MCB tripped instantly as soon as the plug was inserted into the socket, even without switching it on. I immediately contacted Libra customer care, and they asked me to share the invoice copy and explain the issue via WhatsApp. I promptly sent the invoice, a photo of the roti maker with markings indicating where the spark occurred, and a detailed message describing the problem. I received a response stating that a technician would be arranged at the earliest. However, over the next 4–5 days, despite multiple calls and WhatsApp messages, there was no response regarding the technician visit. When I finally managed to reach customer care again this morning, the response was unexpected. I was informed that their service center is located only in Kolkata and was asked to courier the appliance there at my own expense, with the assurance that it would be returned after repair at their cost. As I was not comfortable with this option, I was given an alternative suggestion to approach a local technician, and if any parts needed replacement, Libra would send the required parts to the customer. This entire experience highlights that purchasing a Libra product outside Kolkata offers little practical value in terms of warranty or service support, as there are no accessible service centers elsewhere.

The green indicator does not glow consistently, even after 20 minutes of heating (tested three times). Only after heating for more than 15 minutes and then switching it off did the green indicator glow after 7 minutes. Sometimes it glows after 20 minutes, and other times after 7 minutes. As per the instructions, it should glow within five minutes, which is not happening. The handle works properly, and the non-stick plates are good. I hope to receive a properly functioning product, as shown in the video, after replacement.

Good product. But green indicator is not lighting. seller not allowing replacement. (Replacement option is there in site) It's working without green indicator. Heating. Can use it.

This product is useless. I tried making rotis after following the instruction given. Well! The rotis don’t even puff moreover, it makes some creaking sounds when presses. Pls return my money back and take this product away
