Delicious super food
Sardines are a true superfood, packed with protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Since they are on the lower end of the marine food chain, they are not as likely to contain concentrated amounts of contaminants such as mercury and PCBs. Sardines are simply the safest and most nutritious fish you can eat. These sardines from Golden Prize are of excellent quality at a very competitive price. The can contains big chunks of sardine in a simple brine, which is much preferable over vegetable oils that often go rancid. The fish is very tasty and has a nice texture. Compared to other brands of canned fish sold on Amazon, Golden Prize is in my opinion far superior in quality and taste. Highly recommended.Make sure you eat the whole fish, including bones, to benefit from the high calcium content ☺

Healthy food, good quality and reasonably priced.
Good packaging and quality of fish inside. Yes, since its sea food, it will have a distinctive smell which might not suit everyone.Although canned fish is read to eat on bread, however, I cooked it first to relieve its smell. Sautéing it in olive oil with a bit of garlic and chopped onions and some herbs really makes it tasty and more palatable.

Good product
Absolutely superb quality. Quite flavourful with the right amount of salt so the fish can be eaten with the brine, and just the right size for one person. I also like that the can can be opened without any tools, makes it much more convenient and handy. The product is imported from Thailand.Sardines are an oily fish, rich in Omega 3 fats, and hence one of the healthiest foods on the planet. It is a very healthy (and in this case tasty) option for a protein rich meal. For those comparing about the fishy taste and the oiliness, that is the whole point of eating this fish! If you can't deal with that save your money and buy something more to your tastes.

Worst product
I previously bought canned sardines in oil.they were very fresh and tasty.i had it as it is without cooking as they were sterilised and it is vaccum packing.BUT THESE ARE NOT FRESH,THEY DIDNT HAVE FLAVOUR AND WERE SMASHED TILL I OPENED THE CANS.THEY TASTED BITTER AND METAL CONTAINER IS ALSO NOT A QUALITY ONE.THE LABEL SHOWED THAT THEY WERE RECENTLY PACKED,BUT THE TRUTH IS DIFFERENT!PLEASE DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT.INSTEAD GO FOR FRESH ONES

Enough omega 3 if fresh fish not available
I liked the flavor and cleanliness of fish. No need to clean. Straight to cook and add spices and it is ready.
