Unique addition to my equipment
I combined this with the Neewer MS 150C and love it. Good built quality and does exactly what I wanted it for. Comes with a lot of inserts unlike other products of this kind. That’s why I chose it.

Doesn’t come with everything advertised.
Mine did not come with the color gels or the gobo shapes. Which is a large part of why I purchased this item.

Best gear in a long time
This Bowen's mount spot really broadens my creative possibilities. For starters, it's built like a tank. It mounts to my flash perfectly and holds tight. It is a little heavy. You certainly should have your flash mounted on a sturdy stand to use this thing. The selection of cut-out metal parts for creating shapes in the light is wonderful. I find the window light shapes particularly useful. I'm pretty sure I could also add to my collection of shapes with some thin metal and a laser cutter. They just slide into place on the side of the snoot. It's also great that you can add one of the included color filters in addition to the shape. I did find that since the modeling light on my flash isn't very bright, controlling the light in the room really helps to get the focus of the light correct. Overall, I really love this light modifier and am happy to recommend it for your creative photography endeavors.

Poorly built.
First, instructions only came in Chinese. Not a problem was able to figure it out. Then there is a light leak abound the designs. No matter how I inserted then the leak was very obvious. Could remove it in post but that would be a lot of extra work. DO NOT RECOMEND.

Fun tool for studio photography
I have this attached to my Godox AD600 strobe and it works great. I was a little worried that it was meant to only work with constant lights based on the description but I've had no problems with it.Construction is full metal and glass (for the focusing lenses), it is very well built and thus it is heavy, not any heavier than a big modifier but just good to know getting into it.The front can rotate so your pattern is not dependent on how it aligns with the mount on your light, this is really nice because you can rotate it to keep the gobo access on the top or side, whichever you prefer. There is a fair bit of focusing adjustment and I was able to get sharp edges on the shapes with the light as far back as 20' from my backdrop which is probably about as far away as you will ever want to use it. The trick is that you almost always have to have it at an angle if you want it behind your subject so it takes a lot of practice to get it right. Definitely want to be well practiced before using this on a job.The only thing that would make this any better is if it came with a carrying case rather than just a box. The foam inserts are really great and if I can find a case to fit I'll definitely keep them with the kit. Maybe this really isn't a big deal since I can't imagine anytime that I would take this out of the studio. If you are interested in playing around and have a use case for something like this I think you would be hard pressed to find a better option.
