Most of these BT adapter devices are just direct DAC to 3.5mm but this one is genuinely an low power FM transmitter, the BT uplink is really solid over 30m+ distance.Now the quality is of course limited to the standards of FM radio, but it's more then fine due to the close proximity of the adapter so the signal quality is about what you can produce with an SDR radio unit.The build quality is plastic, but robust enough to last if treated gently.

Fantastic item, saved me from having to remove the whole centre console on my partners car to replace the factory fitted stereo system.Means full access to all online music apps, ability to connect phone etc to car in a much, much easier way

This thing looks the business, it lights up so you can see it and gives your at interior a pretty cool look. It’ll charge at a decent rate and power your wireless charger too. It’s really neat and tidy and looks quite trick. For the money I’d be happy with it if I’d purchased it. The transmitter works well and is easy to set up and understand. All in all a neat little bit of kit!

Nulaxy 54W NX16 Bluetooth 5.3 Car AdapterA Swiss army knife of car chargers with 4 charging ports, Bluetooth FM transmitter and a dinky light.Measuring approximately 45mm wide and 48 mm high it may not fit in all car sockets, but extensions are commonly available and worth getting.The lights are a pleasant addition, not too bright with muted colours. Certainly not distracting but they can be switched off.Powering up for the first time, the display flashes "bt" and the frequency. Once paired with NX16 on your phone, the "bt" disappears leaving just the frequency on display.Sound quality was acceptable for a noisy car but not hi-fi quality.Tried charging both a tablet and phone simultaneously using the two USB-C sockets but it would only charge one at a time. Connected a power bank to a USB-A socket and that charged at 9V 1.3A with 12V 1.1A on the primary. Adding my tablet via a USB-C socket increased the primary to 4.2 Amps. Adding my phone to the other USB-A socket and the phone didn't charge and the primary amps remained the same. I could only get one USB-C and USB-A in use at the same time.Obviously this was a bit of a disappointment but manageable.
