The television works well. The picture is clear and relatively bright, and the sound is very good without a soundbar.....it's just right for our 4-season sunroom. Setup was straight forward except for adding an Amazon Fire TV Stick....I could not get the volume and on/off controls to work, and Svlvox is not listed as a selection with the Fire TV Stick for the brand of TV I had. Getting through to support was a lengthy process (many attempts by phone & email), but I finally got an answer on what to do....select "Toshiba" as the brand....and when I did that, I got full functionality. Concluding thoughts: 1 - It's a good TV for a sunroom - the price & performance are right for me (they have another version for "full-sun"). 2 - Setup - there needs to be documentation with Sylvox (either online or written) on what to do with a Fire TV Stick (it would be good to have it somewhere on Amazon also). 3 - Sylvox Service Support - they need more people to answer their inquiries - they have the answers when you finally connect, it's just too hard to reach them.

I was unfamiliar with the Sylvox brand and was a little apprehensive about paying the premium for an outdoor TV from an unknown brand. However, Sylvox has demonstrated outstanding customer support after my purchase and significantly boosted my confidence in their products. The original unit that arrived from Amazon seemed to have some damaged backlighting at the edges of the screen, causing a bright glow in those areas (especially noticable with dark pictures). After reading other comments here praising Sylvox support, I sent them images of the issue I was seeing (via email), and with very little back and forth, they shipped a replacement unit to me (without waiting on return of the first unit). This next unit arrived (via FedEx) with a suspicious hole in the box right in the middle of the TV screen area. I took pictures and shared with Sylvox support and they advised to try the new unit and report back. Unfortunately, the replacement had been shattered during shipment, but when I reported back to Sylvox, they promptly dispatched *another* replacement (using a new shipping carrier). This 3rd unit seems to be fine. No backlight issues. Outstanding picture, especially when paired with an Apple TV 4K. The TV itself seems well built, with an all metal exterior case and clear weather proofing. The picture is very bright and we have no problem seeing it during full daylight. Overall, the TV is generally what I expected, but the customer support is MUCH better than expected! Highly recommended for the customer support alone. A rarity on Amazon or anywhere these days.

So far so good!!! I did have to buy a bigger mount but was able to use a few of the holes from the previous mount! It looks and works great! I added my Firestick to the back and was able to put the waterproof cover back on! It’s under an eave and I’m not too worried about the back getting wet. But then I logged into Google TV and was able to get all my apps - DirecTv, Apple TV, Paramount +, Prime, Disney, Hulu, NetFlix, etc. The picture quality is amazing! And I was in full sun! It’s like watching TV inside. I went from baseball to soccer to Godfather 2 with no issues or complaints. Frankly, I am surprised at the quality and value! If you were cautious like me, I read review after review from a few sources. The housing is amazing yet the TV is not that heavy. It even has an internal cooling fan! Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful picture absolutely no glare from the pool. Great sound quality, helpful staff.with any questions or issues. I highly recommend this TV.

Updated Review: Sylvox Customer Service reached out via email and Amazon message. They promptly sent a new tv, which so far is working. Good picture and sound quality. They comped the shipping on the broken tv and sent a gift card for our troubles. Updating my review to 4 stars after a week of installation and light use of the new tv. Original Review: Bought this tv not even a month ago. Installed it 2 weeks ago - used it twice. One time for set up, one time for actual use. After turning it on twice, the screen no longer turns on. Tv is covered under a 12 month manufacturer warranty, but Sylvox customer service will not call or email us back after calling/emailing 3 different times during business hours. I am now working with the 3 year warranty provider (Asurion) to get a replacement. For a $1000+ product, I expect higher quality and better customer service.

Very good TV at excellent price. Just days after it was installed, we had a huge rain storm and no issues at all.

We’ve been extremely happy with our SYLVOX 55” Outdoor TV. The picture quality is excellent and it performs exactly as expected in an outdoor setting. We did run into a small issue at one point, but what really stood out was the spectacular customer service from the SYLVOX team. They were responsive, professional, and genuinely focused on resolving the concern quickly. Sally, in particular, was an absolute rockstar—clear communication, fast follow-ups, and made the whole process painless. Great product backed by even better support. Highly recommend SYLVOX if you’re looking for a reliable outdoor TV with a team that truly stands behind their product.

It's stays out all year and works fantastic

This TV is fantastic. Works very well in the sun. As an Android TV I get all my service subscription on it such as Netflix, Prime, Disney...etc. I highly recommend this TV if you are looking for an outdoor TV. Our remote blew away in a windstorm and SYLVOX replaced it. Thanks you very much SYLVOX

Love the new tv, expensive but worth it to have a tv outside

I have been using this outdoor tv for about 2 months now and couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve used it in a range of temperatures from 10c to -30c and with the extreme cold temperature, the tv worked as if it was in a warm area. I am very impressed with the brightness of the picture and picture quality itself. The tv is exactly what I needed for my area being by the hot tub. The speakers on the tv are far better than any indoor tv that I’ve owned but don’t be surprised that your left wanting to add a soundbar or secondary speakers but this would be personal preference on volume and sound quality. I did have to reach out to customer support with a minor issue for the remote and their support was very accommodating and easy to interact with. They replied with in 24hours and are very professional. I would not hesitate to purchase another product of theirs In the future.
