Hallmark Christmas 3 Film Collection (A Heidelberg Holiday/Christmas in Notting Hill/My Norwegian Holiday) [DVD]

Enjoyed all 3 films and played them several times

None of these descriptions of the movies are reliable at all! "Heidelberg" the lady handcrafts ornaments, "Notting Hill" the man is a renowned soccer player recovering from an injury, and "Norwegian Holiday" she is visiting because she was given a free ticket! Very inaccurate on the Amazon site descriptions! All are good movies even though there aren't subtitles. I can understand no subtitles on the "Heidelburg" movie because the translations from German are included when they occur. Easy to understand all the way through and I enjoyed the lead characters very much although both are new to me in relation to Hallmark movies. "Notting Hill" every once in a while I missed something because of the cultural nuances or dropped voice so subtitles would have been appreciated. The leads had good chemistry and I enjoyed the acting. Again, new actors to me but no complaints and good storyline. My favorite was Norwegian Holiday (which was actually filmed in IRELAND!) GREAT storyline, GREAT acting and a fun story in every respect about different ways to celebrate Christmas. I have always enjoyed movies with Rihanna Fish as the lead. Subtitles didn't seem necessary but I thought you should know.

I love My Norwegian Holiday.--It's a favorite of mine, and I'm perfectly happy to repeat-watch it. The actors--male and female--are spot on, the story line is touching, has depth and moments of humor. The camera work is beautiful, the setting authentic. Very believable, a quality film. I also enjoy Christmas in Notting Hill and have watched it more than once. Good casting for it, too. The setting makes it believable. It's less of an art film, but very enjoyable. Heidelberg Holiday is pleasant enough, and there is the fun setting that works nicely for Christmas. The creative solution to the dilemma is nice.

Two of these were my favorite Hallmark movies from the 2023 holiday season; I never caught the third. Even though the package says "Region 4 DVD," they play perfectly well in my USA DVD player. And of course, no commercials are a bonus! There are no captions which I know is an issue for some viewers, but I still give this a 5 star rating. Would definitely (and already have) bought from this seller again.

These are three of the best Christmas movies Hallmark put out for 2024, and they were all shot in different countries: Germany, England, and Norway. I love these movies, and you will too!

Bought as a gift because of one movie. The other two movies were bonuses and the receiver also enjoyed them very much.
