Purchased this from Amazon. The hose reel does not work. Amazon told me they should warranty there products. I went on the website and they say that they have great warranties, they “stand behind their products” they give “great customer service” BS! I gave them everything they need to warranty and a video. They emailed me back and said that they would give me 10% off if I just bought a new one! Absolutely insulting! I will never purchase anything from Giraffe tools ever again!! Amazon gave me a full refund.

Fantastic tool, has everything you need to install it yourself ( i did it all alone). Works like a charm. When i did connect with them with a question (UPS lost my package) they were incredibly responsive. really worth it. looks good and works even better.

Update: The seller reached out and sent me a new unit, which I received a couple of days ago and I've now had the time to try out. I'm much happier with the new one - I've vacuumed up a lot of sawdust and 'black diamond' blasting media as a test, and the waste container is now almost half-full with very little noticeable change in suction power and no unexpected shut-downs. It's not the most powerful vacuum, but it's good enough, and the 30' retractable flex hose makes it easy to get where I need it to. Original Review: (1 star) I wanted to love this product, and I particularly like the self-retracting hose ... but that's where it ends. I wish I hadn't wasted my time mounting it, because I'm now returning it as defective. It barely sucks, and after using it to push dirt around the floor for a minute it shuts itself off. If I try to restart it it only runs again for maybe 30 seconds. When I clean out the filter and empty out the maybe half-cup of dirt in the collection tray it'll again run for maybe a minute or so ... My trusty old battery-powered shop-vac happily sucks up the same dirt pile with no trouble at all. I'm very disappointed in this "Grandstorm" vacuum.

Great item, great suction, makes vacuuming auto easier

Does great when it works. W’ll use it for 10-15 minutes, then turn off. Try to use it again shortly thereafter, and it won’t turn on. Usually have to wait several hours for it to turn back on. Just have learned to live with it, too big to return.

Love the space saving of this by having it hung on the wall. Its easy to use and easy to clean when done.

My wife bought me this garage vacuum for Christmas. I was extremely excited to have and setup considering we have three amazing kids. However, they love to spill their crackers and such in both mine and my wife's car. Anyway, I'd use it once a week and not long after having it set up, it would shut off after 5 minutes. Maybe ten minutes if I were lucky. I emailed costumer service which they would respond promptly which I was appreciative. They gave me a few suggestions on how to potentially solve the problem. None worked. Now, I will be emailing them again in hopes of a better solution. Such a bummer because I wanted to love this machine in my garage. If only it worked. Hopefully I have a good update for you guys in the near future.
