This product works well, picks up vehicles outside our building. The video quality is excellent. it connects to some pretty weak wifi with ease. It was easy to install and comes with everything you need. The battery seems to last a long time unless you're spending a lot of time talking to your kids and watching them make faces at you on live view! i sure do have enough close ups of my kids noses now!

I am changing my rating from the 3 stars and correcting my statement that is below this one. I have found great features in the ring app, one being the option to see where the battery life of the device is. I guess I missed this and I was never actually charging the doorbell all the way. Although this is odd because I would charge it for hours and put it back all for it to not be completely charged. I do however know there maybe other factors that contribute to this and may not be a reflection of the doorbell itself, but rather the charger i used or even the outlet. I have charged it up recently and the charge did great, it lasted about 3-4 weeks. This was when I found out I could check to see how much charge it had. I retract my previous statement because since finding this my doorbell has been operating as expected. I do recommend this product!! Also I want to thank Ring Customer Support who reached out to me numerous times to try to get me the support I needed. It is great to know they care about the integrity of their product and will stand by and assist you with whatever they can to ensure you're satisfied with their product, that in itself speaks volumes about this product to me!! *****previous review below****** can be disregarded! This is a great security camera. It worked so well when I purchased it, which was back in March of this year. Now it will not hold a charge. It seems like I have to charge it every couple of days where as before I didn't have to charge it for at least a couple of weeks. I'm a bit disappointed because I had to buy an Alexa + necessary accessories for this to work, so I spent over $180 on everything abs not even a year in I'm seeing negative changes. Has anyone else who purchased this see similar changes?

I’ve been really happy with the Ring Doorbell Camera so far. The setup was straightforward, and the app walks you through everything step-by-step, so even if you’re not super tech-savvy it’s easy to get started. The video quality is clear during the day and still decent at night, and I like that I can see who’s at the door even when I’m not home. The motion alerts come in quickly, and being able to talk to delivery drivers or guests through the app is super convenient.

We’ve been really happy with this doorbell. The quality feels solid right out of the box, and installation was straightforward using the included instructions. I have had a few Ring Doorbells and they always work well. This one does too. They are easy to set up and do their job. They are durable and mine never malfunctions. This is a rechargeable model so I have to take it in and recharge, but not often. Seems to hold the charge for about three months.

Very displeased with this device, I have the sensitivity set to max and all alerts on. It will sometimes alert you, but it doesn't catch the motion till it has happened halfway through. I would not purchase this device. I had a wired doorbell, and the transformer shorted out because the wires are old. I am going to actually fix it because of this camera. I highly recommend you not purchase this camera and consider other options. I have a ring through my house and outside and have started to become displeased with them. It has a lag that the other camera does not; it takes minutes to actually catch up. Follow up since I originally wrote this review, because of the review Ring reached out to me and troubleshooted the issues I was having. They helped me modify some settings, check the internet speed. We worked through the issues I was having and were on the phone with a great tech for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I feel like these issues should get better; they are going to follow up in a few days to make sure it is working properly now. Customer service is above the standard these days. I highly recommend the camera at the price point, and add the solar part, it will work great, or Ring will reach out to you and help you figure it out. I believe they went above what was expected, and that is true customer service.

Great product, works perfectly 95% of the time, slight delay in alerts sometimes but that's about it. Only have to charge in every two months or so which is terrific.

Does exactly what it says it does. Clear footage and easy to use. Very happy with purchase.

Recently purchased the Ring Camera, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The build quality is excellent, and the camera provides a clear, crisp view of the doorstep. It’s a game-changer for convenience and security as we can also setup the range/area for detection and eliminated unnecessary false warnings. Really glad I purchased this. It was easy to set up and the video is decent quality. The lens has a tendency to frost over on really cold nights which isn’t ideal though.
