The shape allows you to maximize on space and provides a nice, clean look. (The others are excellent because they're stackable which is great if you plan on moving anytime in the future. If you head over to the link above, you can see more of what I mean and what I recommend each of them for.) We use these baskets in lieu of laundry baskets because the size works better for us. We hang dry at least half of every load so the bigger ones are just not necessary for us. These being taller still hold quite a bit too. Uploading some photos so you can see what I mean. It depends how small you fold your clothes (we file folded t-shirts vertically in drawers so we can see all of them; this means we fold them into quarters vertically) but what you're seeing are my Small to Medium sized tops and my husband's 2XL shirts, to give you an idea of size. Excellent value for under $20 for the six; you can't go wrong! Handles and all are sturdy and washable. Purchased a set for my family and my mom's. Would definitely recommend to others! Smile. We have two kittens that are six months old and weigh six lb each. Exactly as shown. Very sturdy. These are nice because they are square top to bottom so they are great for pantry items.

Works great to store foods in an upright freezer and keep things organized.
