This pump worked great with a 3/4" x 100' hose from walmart, I was able to drain my 1,100 gallon pool down to about 1/8 inch on the low side. It took around 4 hours, I was able to water multiple trees (didn't want to waste the water).Very easy to use; Just connect the hose to the supplied Garden Hose Adapter, put it in the pool and plug it in to an electric outlet. When using a garden hose, you will never get 1,600 gallons an hour, it's more like 300.

I have used this twice now to drain a 8 foot diameter kiddie pool. It seems like a very well-made, solid device and pumps, the water so well I can use a hose and water plants and parts of my yard. It’s very quiet. At this point, I will say it’s a good value for the money.

This little pump gets the job done and I couldn't find a better product to drain my pool. It's worth the price and all you have to do is plug it in and put it in your pool. Perfect. I definitely need to let others know to purchase it

Pump flows a lot of water with no hose attached. The moment you attach a 3/4" garden hose the pressure and flow drops to a fraction. If tried using a hose to pump 5-6Ft in elevation and it required priming the pump each time.For applications using a hose bigger than 3/4" and without elevation, it should work well. Would not recommend if you plan to attach a 3/4" garden hose and have any elevation.

Would not Buy again, it appears to be leaking oil, tough to tell from the picture, but it was pinkish red, and it was oily made the pool a mess. I do not recommend this product.

I use this to move water from a rain barrel into a larger holding tank so I can water my garden. Had one just like it until I dropped it and broke it. Works great for this kind of job.

So far, super happy with this pump! I'm using it in the bottom of my new rain barrel for indoor plants watering. I used hole saw to allow the pump cord to exit the upper left side of the barrel. I used the hole already available on the upper right side to place the pump hose for filling my 2.5 gal water jugs. I couldn't be more pleased with this set up. The pump is not too weak or too strong for this purpose. I plug the pump in, it fills the 2.5 gal jug in about 30 seconds, I unplug the pump & done.
