High quality everyday cooking essential
This saucepan is the perfect size for making hot cereals, small servings of pasta, slow cooking vegetables of course sauces. I have made a Hollandaise sauce recently, the even heating of this pan makes it a breeze to get a perfectly reduced sauce. I also slow cooked some carrots with mint and honey, (my son's favorite), it simmered for a few hours on low heat and the carrots were perfect. The stainless finish is easy to clean, the handle is sturdy and does not get hot. The glass lid is a nice feature and captures the moisture and returns it to the pan. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of this saucepan and it will serve us for many years to come. The Homichef customer service is very responsive and follows up promptly. Plan to add additional Homichef products to my cooking collection. I highly recommend you try their products.

My new favorite pot
Absolutely love this pot! I didn't season it like I did the other one I purchased from this company, and have used it a dozen times with no sticking issues at all. Throw it in the dishwasher and you're ready to go. Beautiful, heavy duty, and the perfect size for cooking rice, pasta, soup, etc. Very well made!

Great Pan
The 1.75 qt. pan is amazing. It arrived within the time frame they said it was going to. When I opened the box it came with a welcoming note and instuctions on how to maintain the product. They said to make sure to wash it properly before using and gave other tips to help extend the life of the product if the consumer so choose to do. It also comes with a Cleanser and Polish if it gets a really tough stain and you want to make it nice and shiny again. I've never seen a company care about their products as much HOMICHEF. It also comes with a Product Manual and explains what the pan is made of how to take care of it and explains the warranty. The pan is lightweight but very durable, it looks like it would be heavier than it is. There is nice measuring lines on the inside of the pan for volume. I really like the fact the handle is riveted on the pan. The handle is a nice thickness - easy to hang onto and grab.We have used the pan a few times now and we are amazed at how evenly the heat is distributed throughout the pan. We have tried different kinds of foods just to see if it failed at some parts and not others and we are very impressed with the pan. Food hasn't been stuck on the pan afterwards, it was easy to clean. Overall we are very impressed with how the company stands behind their products and the pan itself. Would recommend this pan to people

Lid handle gets hot
Good size. Works as intended. Looks great. Lid handle gets too hot to touch sometimes.

Beautiful and nice quality
The first thing I noticed about the saucepan was that it is really beautiful. It looks and feels like high quality cookware. I love the glass lid that allows me to see inside while cooking as well. An added bonus were the measurements on the inside of the pan. I don’t typically go by quarts or liters; however, it’s nice to have that guideline.I LOVE the handle. It feels really wonderful and is much more comfortable to hold than my very expensive All Clad saucepan. The thickness of the sides of the pan are slightly thinner than my previous saucepan, but I don’t see that as an issue at all. It still feels nice, sturdy, and really high quality. It’s slightly lighter in weight but I like that. It's also a breeze to clean. I was worried it would be harder to clean due to it not having nickel, but it's no problem at all.I cook rice cereal or oats in a small saucepan every morning for my 2-1/2 year old and I’ve always been a bit worried about nickel slowly leaching into his food. If he’s anything like me, he will have a problem with nickel and I want to avoid his exposure at all costs. I’m so happy to have this pan now and will be cooking all future breakfasts and other foods in this Homi Chef saucepan!

Food stains after 1st use
The pot is beautiful, a good weight, and keeps the heat away from the outer end of the handle, but a couple of days after receiving it, I simmered baked beans and kielbasa in it. This was the result (see photo). They sent polishing packets with the pot, but is says it's not for everyday use. I'll update you all if I can get the stains out.

My new favorite pot.
This pot is just gorgeous. I’ve been using it every day for a couple of weeks and the mirror-like shine is as bright as the day I received it. The pot has a beautiful shape - deep and narrow - which seems to make food cook more quickly. I originally bought this small pot for boiling eggs and steaming small servings of vegetables for two people. However, I also find it to be perfect for cooking two or three servings of oatmeal.Further praise for this pot includes the elegant and ergonomic handle, the beautifully designed part-glass lid, and the ease of cleaning. If you follow the simple seasoning instructions the company includes and the cooking temperatures recommended, the pot is almost totally non-stick without the noxious chemicals used in teflon, etc. I once accidentally had the heat a bit too high and saw some slight discoloration, but a quick swipe with some Barkeeper’s Friend stainless steel cleaner got rid of that in a minute. This is currently one of my favorite pots, right up there with my French braiser that cost more than six times as much as this. I strongly recommend this wonderful little saucepan! I’m only sorry that the company doesn’t seem to make other pots in this design. I would love to have a six quart stock pot like this!
