LUNYEE 40pcs End Mills CNC Router Bits with ER11, ER16 Collet, 1/8" Shank CNC Cutter Milling Carving Bit Set Including 2-Flute Flat Nose & Ball Nose, Nano Blue Coat & Titanium Coat Bits

I have a Yunlee DIY CNC 3018 machine and wrote a review about it. Afterwards, Yunlee invited me to tryout this bit set as well. I looked into different brands available in Amazon. this is one of the most complete and price competitive options for beginners. As a DIY CNC newbie, I had some observation, more than advice... I put the bits into test for my of my initial 2 CNC projects. in each photos, I included one or two bits I used for rough and detailed cuts in the photos for the acrylic plate, I used a 2.4mm nano blue compression bit for the rough cut and v-cut 0.1mm 30° but for detailed cut. the rough cut was fast and bottom surface was flat and clean. there was no overheating for both the bit nor the acrylic (no melting of the chips or plate edges). the v-cut was sharp and precise to yield the fine pattern and graphic I wanted. I did need some clean up afterwards to remove some residue, but I guess this is normal. My second project is a Nixie clock wooden housing. bottom side, I had only rough cut with the 1/8" 2 flute end mill. it craved out the pocket well and fast with not much vibration. there was consistently chip still attached but only to one side of the wall, so it must be related to the grain pattern of the wood, not related to the bit? Top side, I used the 1/8" upcut end mill for rough cut and 1.2 nano blue bit for detailed cut. the cut through hole wall, the 2-step circumference on the hole all came out well. again I do need to clean up afterwards. will try to lower the feed rate next time if it would make it even cleaner. (updated with the final product. look great, thanks Lunyee) I haven't tried the titanium coated set yet. still have a few projects in mind and will update my observations after in here. Overall, the bits served my purpose as a beginner. the document describes the application of each bits is clear (better than a lot of YouTube videos which at the end tell you nothing about which bits for what), price is great, and last but not least customer support is always awesome

My husband is using and stays they are working great. Good variety of sizes and quality is good. Easy to use and good value for the money.

Comes with a phenomenal assortment that mill, carves and cuts super well! Bought this set for my mother and she’s amazed!

Bits appear to be fine, great assortment. However I do question the inclusion of a ER16 Collet especially being sold with the LUNYEE brand. Why include a ER16 collet that wont fit the the LUNYEE CNC machine, makes no sense what so ever. Had to order a ER11 x 1/4" from another seller

My husband wanted an assortment of bits for his CNC router so I purchased various kits for him. This one was one of the larger ones. He said they work well, his only complaint, and the reason we didn’t give it a 5 star is because the other kits I got him had downloadable libraries for the bits that could be imported into Fusion 360 which he uses to create the models he mills on the router. He said it’s a royal pain in the butt to add each tool individually.

These bits are a great deal for the money. Many different sizes and they last. Highly recommended.

This set has a good variety of bits. I have a very low-end CNC that isn't very powerful which makes these bits a good match. It would be nice if the manufacturer included the bit presets to load into Fusion 360 as it's a lot of work to do it manually. The bits I used are sharp and cut well. For the price, these bits are a great value.
