Does this do the separating for the essential oils or is that a model up?

I’m a novice at this to the point that my husband had to help me set up the distiller. I’ve used it to make ethanol extracts and, for that, it works fine. It is, according to him, pretty much like a high school chemistry set. Not knowing exactly what you’re doing, the most I can tell you is that if you do order this one, be really careful when you unpack it. I struggled getting the distillation flask out and broke it in the process. I use the submersible pump from our kitty’s drinking fountain to recirculate the water for the condenser. I find the whole process fascinating and addictive.

How do i hook up the water for refrigeration? Do bbn i need a pump?

Save your money, this kit is made from cheap glass that cracked first time I used it. Other than that, it’s only good to show on a VERY small scale how the distillation process.

How many mL’s is the boiling flask?

100 ml. A note of caution: I broke that flask unpacking the set. It's very tightly packed but if you can peel back the top 1/2" of foam, you don't have to "dig" the distillation flask out. That's how I broke mine.

I am using this for decoration, so it doesn't need to be assembled correctly. How tall is this set at it's highest point?

This is a guess but 14". I'm away from where its stored for a few weeks.
